New rumor: Rahm Emanuel will leave as Obama’s chief-of-staff because of frustration with lawmakers who won’t bend to his will

rahm-emanuel-3Poor dead fish Rahm Emanuel. It almost brings a tear to my eye to think what lawmakers aren’t bowing to Rahm Emanuel’s Chicago thug style politics. And to think because of those evil lawmakers not doing so, he’s so frustrated that he my quit as Obama’s Chief-Of-Staff! But don’t worry, Iranian born Valerie Jarrett who is just as ethical and qualifed may take his place. At least this is what an article in the New York Post says:

DC clairvoyants say Rahm Emanuel will leave as President Obama’s chief-of-staff in the not-too-distant future. Though once a congressman himself, Emanuel is said to be frustrated with lawmakers who won’t bend to his will. And his temper — similar to the Ari Gold-like eruptions of his super-agent brother, Ari Emanuel, in Hollywood — has not been well received in some quarters. The buzz was reinforced on “The McLaughlin Group” Sunday, when Rahm was labeled “Des tined for Political Oblivion by the End of 2010.” Obama’s fiercely loyal adviser Valerie Jarrett is said to be the frontrunner to take his place.

    I find it totally hard to believe that this website sees absolutely nothing of value from the left. I see a smidgen, albeit the smallest fraction of a smidgen, of sense within the right wing when they speak of balancing a budget (which is something that progressives also believe in btw). So why is it that conservatives have to walk around with blinders on?

    In a world where populations number in the hundreds of millions it takes thousands of people to run it. It is both implausible and – quite frankly – insane to believe that one agenda, one ideology will adequately represent all of the people. This country, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, was founded on this very notion that people need healthy debate to drive consensus. Are you really of the opinion that it’s only the left that is corrupt? Are there no level headed people out there that you simply might just have a disagreement with? Stonewalling is NOT debate, it’s simply a childish game.

    The day the Republican party and the Libertarians realize that rational debate will be the only true way to combat ideological differences to themselves, is the very same day that this country has a chance to redeem itself.
