Al Sharpton backs Harry Reid and his racist comments

alsharptonWhat a shock! A liberal says racists comments and a famous race baiter like Al Sharpton has no problemo with them. Don Imus, Trent Lott, well that’s a different story. Politico has Sharpton’s response to the ‘light skinned’ and ‘no Negro dialect’ racist remarks by Harry Reid:

I have learned of certain unfortunate comments made by Senator Reid regarding President Barack Obama and have spoken with Senator Reid about those comments. While there is no question that Senator Reid did not select the best word choice in this instance, these comments should not distract America from its continued focus on securing healthcare or creating jobs for its people. Nor should they detract from the unquestionable leadership role Senator Reid has played on these issues or in the area of civil rights. Senator Reid’s door has always been open on hearing from the civil rights community on these issues and I look forward to continue to work with Senator Reid wherever possible to improve the lives of Americans everywhere.

    We think these past words from Sharpton towards Imus should be directed to Sen. Reid as well:
    “I don’t know what’s in your heart and I’m not going to call you a name, I’m not going to call you a bigot. I’m going to say what you said was racist, I’m going to say was you said was abominable, I’m going to say you should be fired for saying it.”

    Yes, Reverand, Reid should be fired. And in all likeliness its less than 10 months away…

    I am offended (as a AAW)because there are ‘Negros’ (as Reid calls us) ,in Africa, Germany, Canada and UK etc. Do we all speak the same dialect? NO! Because there is no such thing as NEGRO DIALECT. Some in the black community (leaders)are okay with this tenure, as if every black person fits into this category, we are a diverse people and we should not just roll over and pretend that we fit like a puzzle piece into some neat little stereotype( in speech/dialect ), of what Reid and others like him feel we should. “Talking white” (educated) or Negro dialects (uneducated) are all generalizations? And they should not be tolerated as facts; rather you refer to it as Negro dialect or Ebonics it falls under stereotype. Al Shaperton never has and never will represent me, he is a broke politician(special interest seeker, professional bull carper) without the respect or fancy title .

    Al Sharpton is a racial profiler. He doesn’t want Aferican Americans and Whites to be friends, that’s why he is always stirring up trouble It seems to us that he woulding even have a life if the Whites and Aferican Americans liked each other.
    Why do you think so many Whites voted for Obama?
    Also why is he siding with Mexico? Makes you wonder sense the people from mexico are keeping the Aferican Americans down the most. We believe Al Sharpton is a racist. Why is he always preaching hate for the Whites? Blessed is the pease maker for they shall see God. Mr. Sharpton don’t be scuch a Bigot.
