Obama called for Don Imus’s firing in 2007 after Nappy headed hos comment about Rutgers University women’s basketball team

obamahypocriteLets see. We have Al Sharpton excusing racist Harry Reid’s comment about Obama having no Negro dialect’ comment made about Obama in 2008. Obama himself says there is no problem with this comment. Liberal media as usual ignoring this. Yet as I already posted, Obama in 2002 demanded Trent Lott’s ouster because he remarked favorably on former Sen. Strom Thurmond’s 1948 run for president on a segregationist third-party line. Seems hypocrite in chief Obama also demanded Don Imus’s firing in 2007 after Don Imus referred to the Rutgers University women’s basketball team as “nappy-headed hos”, which is comprised of eight African-American and two white players. Ironically, Imus in the Morning in 2007 was on of all channels, MSNBC tv and CBS Radio. Obama said he would never again appear on Imus’ show, and told ABC:

“I understand MSNBC has suspended Mr. Imus,” Obama told ABC News, “but I would also say that there’s nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude.”
“He didn’t just cross the line,” Obama said. “He fed into some of the worst stereotypes that my two young daughters are having to deal with today in America. The notions that as young African-American women — who I hope will be athletes — that that somehow makes them less beautiful or less important. It was a degrading comment. It’s one that I’m not interested in supporting.”

Obama said he appeared once on Imus’ show two years ago, and “I have no intention of returning.”
