Sarah Palin signs contract with Fox News to become a contributor

fox-news-logoI can hear the whining liberals now. I can picture in my head all the left wing nut blog headlines about Sarah Palin and Fox News. I can even hear left wing nuts head’s exploding at the news that Sarah Palin has signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel! The New York Times reports that Fox has confirmed that Sarah Palin will appear on the network’s programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal! Financial terms were not disclosed (ooops, there goes another pop).

Sarah Palin is set to debut as a Fox News contributor on Tuesday, January 12th at 8pm (EST) on the O’Reilly Factor.

Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series. Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running documentary series on the military called “War Stories.”

Many suspected that when Ms. Palin retired as the governor of Alaska last summer she was doing so to pursue some sort of career in television. The Fox News deal, however, would not seem to be all encompassing, and would appear to give her room for other pursuits, as well.

The deal could be formally announced as early as this afternoon. Robert Barnett, Ms. Palin’s attorney, did not respond to a call for comment.

    I could not bring myself to vote for a ticket that included Sarah Palin because she chose to get on a plane while leaking amniotic fluid.

    Until that incident, she was my hero. But now, she just seems like a mental case because of the way she treats her children. I have five children (same daddy) and know they can make you crazy ~ but that plane ride was a little much…
