Scott Brown still not seated in the Senate so Democrats raise debt ceiling by $1.9 Trillion to a total of $14.3 trillion

democrat-logoWhy isn’t Scott Brown seated yet in the U.S. Senate? He won his election over a week ago, yet Paul Kirk is still voting and was one the 60 Democrats to vote today to raise the debt ceiling by $1.9 trillion, for a grand total of $14.3 trillion! Every single Democrat voted to raise the debt ceiling, including so called “centrists” like Bayh, Nelson, Landrieu, McCaskill, Lincoln, etc. In other words, your personal share of the debt just went up $45,000 today. Michelle Malkin has a snapshot of the roll call vote,

Where the hell is the Republican party? Why are they allowing Brown to be treated like a sencond class Senator? Is there any outrage over this treatment by the Dems in Mass.? God we need some balls in the Republican party. If this is a sign of how things ae going to be run in 2010 we won’t benifit nearly as much as we should.

I’d like to see the RNC or someone file an injunction to STOP an unelected civilian from voting as a Senator in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It was my understanding that his position was gone the day after election day… period. If anything, he should be home playing with the kids and no one should be representing Massachusetts citizens until Brown gets there. This is the equivalent of Obama appointing an unelected czar to fill in for missing Senators and cast votes in direct contrast of what the people of that state wish done.
