Rahm Emanuel – the First Amendment is highly overrated
Newbusters found this gem. Apparently at a White House Correspondents Association Dinner back in May of ’09, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel told some entertainment reporter:
“When you think about the First Amendment…you think it’s highly overrated.”
While this has been under wraps for almost a year now, the audio of this was made available by Newsbusters.

The MSNBC meltdown over Martha Coakley’s polls circling the toilet – Ed Schultz, Tingle Leg Chris Matthews and David Shuster
It’s such a beautiful thing watching the hacks at MSNBC in panic mode. Take for instance MSNBC’s David Shuster who wondered out loud on the air if Massachusetts voters have “lost their minds”
Earlier today on the “Morning Joe” show with Mika Brzezinski who believes Abe Lincoln was a founding father with tingle leg Chris Matthews. Poor Chrissy had a very sad face, sighed, and said “It looks like Brown”.

Martha Coakley turns MLK breakfast into political rally for herself
How pathetic and desperate is Martha Coakley? Apparently, she thought a breakfast to honor Dr. Martin Luther King was a political rally for herself, instead of actually honoring the legacy of Dr. King. Coakley was invited to speak after the widely unpopular MA governor Duval Patrick. Within a few seconds into her speech, she said this:
“If Dr. King were here today, he’d be standing with us,” she
told the heavily black audience. “And I know that he would be
standing with us on the front line for health care, not as a
privilege, but as a right.”
Watch this video in which she turns her speech into a campaign speech

Of course Coakley couldn’t resist the usual Democrat propaganda of slamming George W. Bush.

Approval ratings for Cornhusker Kickback king Ben Nelson drop below 50%
I don’t know if the Omaha World Herald is a liberal fish wrap or not (since the vast majority of newspapers are, I’ll assume it probably is). But the latest poll from the Omaha World Herald’s latest poll has Nelson’s job approval rating at 42% and his disapproval rating was 48%. By comparison, Republican Senator Mike Johanns of Nebraska, who voted against the bill, had a 63% job-approval rating. Being from California, and not knowing a whole lot about him, Nelson always seemed like a nice guy, so it’s no surprised he once enjoyed some of the highest job performance marks in the U.S. Senate. Alas, he might still be a great guy, but he sealed his fate with this cash-4-cloture vote (along with the bailout, along with the tarp bill, along with the omnibus pork bill).

Scott Brown responds to Obama’s attack about his truck – which happens to be a GM truck!
Most of Obama’s lackluster appearance with Martha Coakley on Sunday that couldn’t even fill up a 3,000 capacity hall consisted of the usual blame Bush BS. In between that, Obama made numerous cracks about the truck Scott Brown drives. Here’s one of them:
“So look, forget the ads, everybody can’t can slick ads. Forget the truck. Everyone can buy a truck.”
I’d love someone to comment on exactly how many references Obama made to Brown’s truck. Turns out, according to Gateway Pundit, the truck is a GM truck! LOL! I think for the first time the “truck” was mentioned more than Obama himself, which would be an amazing feet. Brown’s responded to Obama’s truck slams (from Fox News):
Latest PPP Poll – Scott Brown leads Coakley 51%-46%
The latest PPP poll, released January 17th has Scott Brown beating Marcia, err I mean Martha Coakley 51% to 46%. The poll shows Brown winning the independant vote by a 2:1 margin of 64% to 32%! Cook Report – Scott Brown now favored for Massachusetts Senate
The Cook Political Report is an independent, non-partisan newsletter that analyzes elections and campaigns for the US House of Representatives, US Senate, Governors and President as well as American political trends. Left wing nuts will try and discredit them much like with Rasmussen when they learn that the Cook Political Report now has Scott Brown favored to win the election on Tuesday! Hours before Obama’s disastrous appearance with Coakley in a hall they couldn’t even fill to capacity, Charlie Cook sent an unusual weekend update to his Cook Political Report subscribers saying that Scott Brown, the Republican, is now a slight favorite.

Obama & Coakley can’t even fill hall at Campaign Rally
LOL! Gateway Pundit mentions that the Martha Coakley / Obama rally Boston couldn’t even fill the hall to capacity! Carl Cameron who attended the “rally” confirmed. The hall has a capacity of about 3,000 and only 2,000-2,500 were in attendance. And as you know, most were bussed in to begin with which was ironic. Remember when Obama could draw 10,000+ people withou much of an effort?
