824,000 more jobs lost in 2009 than originally thought

urkelThere were already over 4 million jobs lost in 2009, a record for any President in modern history. That number may end up being on the low side, as Bloomberg is reporting this coming Friday when the government releases its annual revision to employment data.

The U.S. may lose 824,000 jobs when the government releases its annual revision to employment data on Feb. 5, showing the labor market was in worse shape during the recession than known at the time.
