Evan Bayh’s residency in Indiana is an accountant’s office?

democrat-logoAwfully cramped living quarters wouldn’t you say? Maybe it’s Bayh’s way of “cutting back” as Obama suggested and he downsized his living conditions in the state he represents. Frugal Hoosiers discovered this rather odd address with two images posted on their site. One is Bayh’s signed Statement of Candidacy, and the other is the Statement of Organization form signed by his campaign treasurer, Dennis Charles. Both forms list Bayh’s address of 850 Fort Wayne Avenue. A quick Google search reveals that this address is in fact not a residential address, but a business address. Specifically, it is the address of Charles Madden PC, a CPA firm where Dennis Charles works

Frugal Hoosiers poses these interesting questions:

1. Does Bayh actually claim this as his permanent Indiana residency as he appears to with the FEC?
2. If not, where is his residency?
3. He can’t register to vote at a business, so where is he registered to vote (is it even in Indiana)?

Veeeeeeery interesting. The Dems raised hell in ’08 about Norm Coleman renting a room in DC for cheap from a lobbyist. I wonder about the ethical ramifications of Bayh’s living arrangements

This is no worse than Robert (sheets) Byrd. His is a wooded lot in Beckley, WV
He buried his wife in VA so I question his loyalty to WV.

What about the 22 year incumbant Democrat Dale Grubb of District 42. Mr. Grubb claims residency in Covington, Indiana while he lives full time with his 2nd wife in Danville, Illinois.

This is just not right and these trick’s to skirt the law show the true character of these carreer politicians. Oh, did you know 4 of the last 8 Governors of the state of Illinois have done jail time.

Why do you want to live in Illinois, Dale? Do you think that offers the people of District 42 fair representation. You grew up in District 42 and moved out. Now you want to continue to be our paid Representative.

Not if I can help it. I’m voting for Sharon Negele. She lives, work’s and has a track record of helping our communities in District 42.
