For the first time in her adult life, Michelle Obama talks to Fox News, ABC edits transcript to remove all the “you know” from her quotes

michelle-obama-ugly-franceMichelle Obama took time out of her busy schedule with her 30+ staff members to conduct an interview with Mike Huckabee and that evil Fox News channel last night. The interview with Huckabee was taped on Friday in a first grade classroom in Philadelphia and focused on her anti-childhood obesity campaign “Let’s Move.” Much like her husband and portly Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, neither can finish a sentence wihout an “uh”, “umm”, or “you know”. Of course, whenever Mrs. America hater speaks, the lame stream media takes note of it, especially when she speaks to that evil Fox Network. The lame stream media like ABC also seem to edit out certain parts of her quotes too, like the constant “you know” and “umm” she makes.

Asked by Huckabee what she wants America to know about her, the first lady said, “I’m doing everything I can every day to make my country proud. So that when I go abroad and represent us, I want America to know that I’m thinking about doing it the best way that I can. Truly.”

Huckabee pressed Obama again, asking, “Is there a perception or a narrative about you that you feel has been misrepresented? Or maybe been unfair?”

“To the extent that it was during the course of the campaign, I think people have gotten to know me,” she said. “I love my country, you can’t do this if you don’t. The same is true for my husband.”

Huckabee also delved in the politics of the “Let’s Move” initiative, asking whether critics are right when they accuse her of trying to propagate a “nanny state” where “the government is telling us what we can eat.”

“This is the one thing that this initiative isn’t,” she responded. “This is not government intervention.”

Obama said her approach is rooted in personal and community choices, with government aiding in part.

“This is not an initiative about telling people what to do. It’s giving people the tools to make decisions that make sense for them,” she said.

In ABC, and the rest of the lame stream media’s video, its journalistically acceptable to put quotation marks around the statements attributed to Michelle Obama, when one-third of her words are actually left out.
