Washington Post blog “The Root” lumps Black Conservatives Micheal Steele, Alan Keyes and Clarence Thomas in With mass murderers and dictators

The Washington Post owns the blog called “The Root” which happens to be the brainchild of Post Chairman Donald Graham and Harvard University professor and Obama’s pal Henry Louis Gates Jr. You remember Gates don’t you? The cop that acted “stupidly” had a beer summit with him at the White House last summer? The latest entry in the blog is entitled “Black Folks We’d Like to Remove From Black History.” That title alone raises some eyebrows alone. The entry lists 21 blacks who are considered “embarrassing”. Among the 21 blacks listed include are murderers like OJ Simpson and John Allen Muhammad. A pimp named Bishop Don Magic Juan, and dictators like Idi Amin and Robert Mugabe. These people listed are about as low as pond scum and no one could really “argue” about them being on this curious list. Also on the list are so called entertainers like Soulja Boy, Wesley Snipes and Flava Flav (YEAAAAAAAA BOYEEE!). Then we find Clarence Thomas, Alan Keyes and Michael Steele on the list of who who “black folks” they’d like to remove from American history. First off, i’m not a fan of Micheal Steele at all. He’s been a big disappointment to me, but why should he be “Removed” Alan Keyes? Why? And only the second black Supreme Court Judge in history should be removed from “Black history too”? Why? Oh wait! I KNOW! Because they are conservatives! Surely, these three individuals are on par with murderers, dictators, and pimps! OF COURSE! The Root goes on to say this:

As happy as we are for the nation to get its yearly reminder that black people do exist in the context of American history, there’s a growing list of characters that has us harking back to Zora Neale Hurston’s famous words: “All my skinfolk ain’t kinfolk.” Indeed, while we love our own, we sure do dream of erasing a few of them from the history books. Some are politicos, others are pop culture figures, but they all share one common attribute: They’re embarrassing.

The National Center for Public Policy Research, which according to Gateway Pundit is a black conservative group, is not too happy about this racist hit piece.
