Democrat Louise Slaughter at Health Care Summit reading SOB story – She wore her dead sister’s teeth

ObamaCare-health-insuranceAnother great liberal progressive from Nevada. Louise Slaughter recites maybe one of the most pathetic attempts at a sob story during the health care summit. Maybe ObamaCARE is getting into the dental field too?

“You will not believe this and I know you won’t, but it’s true. Her sister died. This poor woman had no dentures. She wore her dead sister’s teeth, which of course were uncomfortable and did not fit.”

    1 – The U.S. Constitution does not give Congress the power to take over health care.

    2 – Taking over health care is NOT the answer to lowering the cost of our exports, in an effort to increase sales to foreign markets.

    3 – The redistribution of money, with the hopes of paying for a woman’s dentures, is stealing.

    4 – There is no dental coverage in the health care bill.

    5 – Discussing the health care bill contents, is not nit-picking. It is wise, responsible and very informing.

    Medicare doesn’t cover dental care.
    ObamaCare doesn’t add dental care.
    Some Medicare Advantage plans include dental care (which is why people like me signed up for one).
    ObamaCare CANCELS Medicare Advantage plans (unless you live in Florida….which is totally unfair).
    SUMMARY: Slaughter’s sad denture lady would be in the same position after this bill passes. Unless she had an Advantage plan. Then she’d be in a WORSE position.

    PS The reason we are sick of these storys is that they waste time “telling tales of woe” instead of talking specifically about the parts of the bill. If time is money….it’s amazing how they can think of new and creative ways to spend even MORE.
