Pennsylvania Senate race: Pat Toomey 44% Arlen Specter 34%
According to a new Franklin & Marshall poll, Pat Toomey is now leading Arlen Specter 44% to 34% in the race for the Pennsylvania Senate seat. finds Pat Toomey (R) leading both Sen. Arlen Specter (D) and Rep. Joe Sestak (D) by double-digits in general election match ups.
Toomey leads Specter, 44% to 34%, and tops Sestak, 38% to 20%.
In the Democratic primary, Specter leads Sestak, 33% to 16%, with 44% still undecided.

Most Democrats in the House and Senate (and White House for that matter) are socialists, they are just afraid to actually admit it. Not the nub job from Vermont Bernie Sanders though. The latest example of this nut job’s nutty comments today is comparing climate change skeptics to those who disregarded the Nazi threat to America in the 1930s, adding a strident rhetorical shot to the already volatile debate over climate change, according to Politico. Surely Al Gore would agree with this. And I’m sure other socialists who refuse to call themselves socialists would agree too. People of Vermont should be really proud of Sanders (and of course Leahy).

The latest count of known terrorist sympathizers is 9, but there may actually be more. Eric Holder is stonewalling Congress as they try and find out the exact number, and names of these “people”. According to the Washington Examiner, at a hearing three months ago, Sen. Charles Grassley raised the possibility of a conflict with Attorney General Eric Holder.

As if Obama couldn’t appoint any more disgusting people to his adminstration or little pet projects, how about SEIU’s head Andy Stern being appointed to Obama deficit panel? Workers of the world unite!
Stern and Rivlin are well-known in Washington. Stern is president of the 2.2 million-member SEIU and an ardent supporter of Obama’s health initiative. Rivlin was founding director of the Congressional Budget Office and White House budget director under Bill Clinton. She has long called for a mix of new taxes and changes to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid to bring budget deficits under control.

Scott Brown votes for cloture on Porkulus 2.0
Brown’s vote didn’t make the difference on cloture passing, as 3 other RINOs voted for it as well: Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins and George Voinovich. But one has to wonder. With Brown also campaigning for McCain this year, is he really a RINO too? Or simply voting for something he truely believes will help his state and the country? As much as I don’t like it, I’m still not yet willing to group Scott Brown into the same group of RINOs like McCain, Collins, Snowe, Christ, etc. I’ll still take Scott Brown over Martha Coakley. However, one has to be wonder now, what is Brown’s view on Cap and Trade? Is he going to be in favor of the new ObamaCARE bill? What about card check?

I’m not fan of Mark Kirk, in fact I can’t stand the guy. He voted yes on Cap and Trade in the House and is more of a RINO than John McCain. However, when it comes to his opponent for the Illinois Senate race Alexi Giannoulias to fill Obama/Roland Burris’s senate seat, Mark Kirk is a saint! In fact, the whole Giannoulias family, especially Alexi’s brother Demetris sounds quite a bit like Obama. Loaded with corruption, hatred for Israel, and tied to Bill Ayers. CBO can not score Obama’s health care proposal due to lack of details!
Among the “goodies” in the bill according to Hotair include another expansion of government to create a new federal Health Insurance Rate Authority to oversee “unreasonable” premium increases. Philip Klein runs the numbers and says that this bill is basically more expensive version of Reid’s bill. Not only that, but Klein mentions this bill is going to tax capital gains 2.9% on top of what Reid’s original bill was set to tax! Great huh? On top of that, The CBO can’t even score this bill because Obama has not provided them enough details in order to be able to score this! How you liking that transparency so far?

Not only did Becerra laugh it off, but so did those attending the “Reform immigration now” rally in Los Angeles. I’m sorry, is there something funny about the pledge of allegiance? Becerra is the one in the dark suit seated on stage. Not until the congressman is specifically confronted does he and the CHIRLA/SEIU rally leader agree that not to do so would be a massive fault. The so called “centrist” Democrat who shocked the Democrats last week by announcing he will not run for another Senate term this year tries to explain his reasons in his New York Times op ed. Don’t be fooled by his “centrist” bs either. This is the same Evan Byah who voted for the Porkulus, voted for cloture on the ObamaCARE bill before Christmas, voted for the omnibus bill that contained nearly 9,000 earmarks, etc. If anything, liberal progressives who are now hating on Bayh for basically assuring this seat will turn Republican in November should be hailing him as a hero. Personally, I think Bayh decided not to run for re-election because he knows that the Democrats are going to use the nuclear option to try and jam ObamaCARE down America’s throats and doesn’t want to stick around for the train wreck it will be for his party.

Who would have thunk it. With the Obama administration owning two U.S. car companies, they are the other marxist “activists” in Congress aren’t exactly industry friendly. There is no discounting the fact that Toyota should be held responsible for the problems caused by their thousands of faulty cars, but when there is a conflict of interest with the government owning its U.S. competitors, something is fishy. And despite the fact that Toyota is a Japanese owned company, some of their cars are still made in America (BY NON-Union Non-UAW workers). According to a presentation obtained under subpoena by the House Oversight and Government Relations committee (via Politico), Toyota referred to the “changing political environment” as one of its main challenges and anticipated a “more challenging regulatory” environment under the Obama administration’s purview.
