There certainly wouldn’t be any happy ending for Ben Nelson come 2012 as he is toast come election time that year. But according to Nelson, there may not be a happy ending for people on health reform aka Obama either. According to The Hill, Nelson, who gave key support to health care legislation in the Senate in December, defended his actions to support the bill, lashing out at the media for heaping scrutiny on deals the senator had secured to support the reform package.
Obama hits new low of strong approval rating on Rasmussen
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday Feb 21 now shows that only 22% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Obama is performing his role as President. This is now the lowest level of strong approval yet recorded for this President. His PAI rating is now -19 which is his second lowest every recorded.

Michelle Obama took time out of her busy schedule with her 30+ staff members to conduct an interview with Mike Huckabee and that evil Fox News channel last night. The interview with Huckabee was taped on Friday in a first grade classroom in Philadelphia and focused on her anti-childhood obesity campaign “Let’s Move.” Much like her husband and portly Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, neither can finish a sentence wihout an “uh”, “umm”, or “you know”. Of course, whenever Mrs. America hater speaks, the lame stream media takes note of it, especially when she speaks to that evil Fox Network. The lame stream media like ABC also seem to edit out certain parts of her quotes too, like the constant “you know” and “umm” she makes.

U.S. Senator from New Jersey Frank Lautenberg diagnosed with stomach cancer
Bad news, and NO i’m not cheering this news like a liberal progressive would had this same thing happened to a Republican Senator. New Jersey Real Time News reports that U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg, New Jersey’s 86-year-old senior senator, was diagnosed with cancer in the stomach in the last 24 hours and will begin chemotherapy today. The one bit of somewhat good news here is that the cancer is treatable.
Lautenberg still plans to finish out his current term – his fifth in the Senate – and seek re-election in 2014.

Joe Sestak a federal job in an effort to dissuade him from challenging Sen. Arlen Specter in the state’s Democratic primary! The disclosure came during an afternoon taping of Larry Kane: Voice of Reason, a Sunday news-analysis show on the Comcast Network. Sestak would not elaborate on the circumstances and seemed chagrined after blurting out “yes” to veteran news anchor Kane’s direct question.
