She was asked again and said “we were in contact with the president’s office” that day. The White House told news organizations on Christmas Day that President Obama had ordered heightened air travel security immediately after he was first briefed on the attempted attack at about 9:00 a.m. Hawaii time (2:00 p.m Eastern) on Christmas Day and that he was repeatedly briefed on the incident during that day.

Over the weekend, I mentioned there was a site called “RatemyProfessors.com” that had a review of Amy Bishop claiming she was a socialist. Of course, any anonymous “rate my” type site isn’t going to prove anything, but it was still interesting. Today in the Boston Herald, while not saying she’s a socialist said this:

But wait! There’s more! According to Gateway Pundit, Bishop robbed an auto dealership with a shotgun after she killed her brother. AND The Boston Globe reports that Bishop was suspect in attempted bombing of Harvard professor Dr. Paul Rosenberg in 1993.
Bayh Bayh Evan! Bayh won’t seek re-election!
Wow, this is a bombshell! Most of the Democrats who announced their “retirements” are Congressmen who were old, or had no shot of re-election. Evan Bayh on the other hand isn’t very old, and certainly at least had a shot of winning re-election. Well, he’s gone now too! I don’t suppose this had anything to do with Evan Bayh’s residency in Indiana being listed as an accountant’s office does it? Not only is Bayh’s move a shocker because of his standing in the state of Indiana, he also puts Democrats in a very difficult situation. According to National Review, The filing deadline to run for federal office in the state is Friday! The Indiana Secretary of State lists it as February 19. It seems that candidates have until tomorrow to collect the signatures, and until Friday to turn them in to the state.

Yet another example of the wonderful leftists in the higher education system. It seems that Amy Bishop who killed 3 faculty members at the University of Alabama Huntsville was not only a socialist, but also killed her own brother 24 years ago! A site called RateMyProfessors.com has reviews of this nut job by her previous students. Some reviews of Bishop were positive, a lot of reviews were negative. But there is one review from May of 2009 that really caught my eye:
This class was great. Bishop makes the class interesting by talking about her research and her friends research. That speaker she had for class was hard to understand but smart. She expects alot and you need to come to every class and study. She is hot but she tries to hide it.And she is a socialist but she only talks about it after class.
This was one of the more positive reviews for Bishop. Notice the socialist part? You can take the entry about her being a socialist however you want to. If you choose to believe it based the student’s review that’s fine, or if you feel like you’d like more credible confirmations and news sources that prove it, that’s cool too. FWIW, the same review also claimed she was “hot”, so umm. But that’s not even the tip of the iceberg for this left wing nut. According to ABC, Amy Bishop also shot her younger brother dead at their home in the Boston suburbs more than 20 years ago, but records of it are missing, police said Saturday.
Before Bishop could be booked, however, the police chief back then called officers and told them to release her to her mother, Frazier said. The shooting of the brother, Seth Bishop, an 18-year-old accomplished violinist, was logged as an accident, but detailed records of the shooting have disappeared, he said.
“The report’s gone, removed from the files,” he said.
The Feds tracking left wing websites such as Huffington Post for terrorist activity and threats for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics
This is almost too good to check! They are certainly looking in the right places for a change. Gateway Pundit posted that the feds are tracking twitter and several other websites including left wing websites Huffington Post, Informed Comment and even ABC’s The Blotter during the Olympics for information on possible terrorist threats.
The Blotter reported:
The National Operations Center of DHS will watch the web for information, according to the statement, to “provide situational awareness” in the event of natural disaster, an “act of terrorism, or other manmade disaster.”
“The Olympics are a potential target for such events,” said the statement. The statement did not list all web sites and social media that the NOC will monitor, but provided 31 examples, many of them, like the Blotter, sites that cover breaking news, security, or terror.

If you thought those “Miss me yet” George W. Bush sparked a controversy, wait until word gets out about this “Impeach Obama” billboard along Highway 41 in Wisconsin starts getting traction. Again, the theme is small business that Obama has shown such distain for. The tagline of the billboard reads:
‘America’s small businesses are failing, help us spread the message.’
While I’m not on the bandwagon to impeach Obama, since he hasn’t done anything that is impeachable, i don’t feel any sympathy for Obama, or his slurpers after years of the “impeach Bush be patriotic” billboards that randomly popped up during his two terms.

The same Obama who tripled the budget deficit last year and has already spent more than every president in the history of the country combined up until Obama (which includes dubya). This comes just one day after Obama signed legislation that authorized $1.9 trillion more in federal debt. This is also the same man who wants Congress to ram ObamaCARE down America’s throats, pass Cap and Trade, and do another Porkulus bill because the first bill was a complete and utter failure.
