The Pentagon is on lockdown after someone opened fire at a nearby Metro station.

The Metro entrance is yards away from the Pentagon, and it is not clear if the Pentagon’s police were involved.

Three people were taken to a local hospital, WTOP.com reported. There condition was not immediately known.

The Blue-Yellow line at the Pentagon station is closed.
