Tommy Thompson (R) now leads Russ Feingold 12 points in the latest poll 51%-39% for Wisconsin Senate seat

According to The Hill, a from A new poll the Wisconsin Policy Research Institute shows Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.) trailing former Gov. Tommy Thompson (R) by 12 points, 51-39! Rasmussen had Thompson leading 47%-43%. While Tommy Thompson hasn’t announced a run for the Senate seat, there has been rumblings that he is preparing for a run and will officially announce his candidacy soon.While many have told me Thompson is nothing but a RINO and basically a John McCain clone i would still support him in favor of far left loon Feingold. Wouldn’t you? The same holds true for California and other Senate races. If its a choice between a RINO and a progressive liberal, I’d back a RINO.
