Mark Begich open to reconciliation for ObamaCARE which now makes officially 50 senators on board for the nuclear option
This tidbit comes from the left wing loony site open left. With Begich’s latest letter to a constituent stating he is open to using reconciliation to pass ObamaCARE, 50 Democrat Senators are now official “open” to using the option. Open left posted a spreadsheet listing Democrats Senators who are “open” to using reconciliation to pass ObamaCARE. 2 are listed as “maybe” and 1 is listed as NO. This leaves 6 Senators who’s voting preference isn’t even known yet. The spreadsheet also lists 37 Senators open to passing the public option via reconciliation, 4 senators who are considered “maybe” votes, and 6 NO. 12 Democrat Senators are undecided when it comes to passing the public option via the nuclear option.

Obama Budget Underestimates Deficit Over 10 Years says CBO
According to Bloomberg, Obama’s budget proposal would generate bigger deficits than advertised each year for the next decade, with the 10-year shortfall totaling $1.2 trillion more than the administration estimated, according to the Congressional Budget Office. You know, the same non-partisan CBO that Obama keeps using for his health care bill that says 6 years of costs and 10 years of taxes and revenue will generate “savings.”

Today is a good day in America, ONLY 36,000 lost their jobs today according to Harry Reid
Turns out 36,000 jobs were lost in the month of February. “Better than expected” numbers. What everyone fails to mention is that the Census Department added 15,000 temporary jobs for the month, and the number of “discouraged workers” also rose. But never mind that. The country has now lost 136,000 over the last 3 months, and the unemployment rate mysteriously has dropped 0.3% to 9.7%. Today was a good day according to Harry Reid. Since “only” 36,000 jobs were lost for the month of February, Harry Reid said this:
“Today is a big day in America. Only 36,000 people lost their jobs today, which is really good.”

You one would expect, 92% of Republicans feel the country is headed in the wrong direction. The more telling number is that 74% of independents also think the country is headed in the wrong direction!46% of Democrats say the country is headed right direction, while 44% say wrong track. In May of last year, 68% of Democrats said right direction, and just 26% said wrong track.

Tonight it was NRP’s Juan Williams calling Sarah Palin a “centerfold” when the discussion came up about Palin’s appearance on Leno last night. During the Hannity “Great American Panel” that included Williams, S.E. Cupp, and some hillbilly singer. As is typical for a liberal progressive like Williams, instead of actually debating the question posed by Hannity, Williams just goes off saying people like Sarah Palin because she’s a “centerfold.”. This is sexist! Surely you would think Woman’s Organizations such as NOW will be giving Willaims a call right </sarcasm>. Towards the end of the debate when Hannity/Williams were debating if Obama is weak on national security, all Williams could do again was rag on Palin and call Hannity a “flag waver.”

According to the Weekly Standard, Obama will host ten House Democrats tonight who voted against the health care bill in November at the White House. He is obviously trying to persuade them to switch their votes to yes. One of the ten is Jim Matheson of Utah. The White House just sent out a press release announcing that today Obama nominated Matheson’s brother Scott M. Matheson, Jr. to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Coindence? The 10 Democrats attending the White House tonight were listed by Obama slurper NBC’s Chuck Todd, Altmire, Boyd, L Davis, Herseth-Sandlin, Kratovil, Markey, Matheson, Murphy, Shuler and Tanner.

Like it or not America, here comes ObamaCARE via reconciliation
Today Obama “officially” confirmed that he wants the Senate to use reconciliation procedures for a final vote on health care.
“It deserves the same kind of up-or-down vote that was cast” on welfare reform, SCHIP, COBRA and the Bush tax cuts, Obama said, “all of which had to pass Congress with nothing more than a simple majority.”
This despite the fact the vast majority of Americans don’t want this bill. The new term Obama is using is the “up and down vote“. Kinda like renaming the second stimulus bill the “jobs” bill. Obama wants the House and Senate leadership to schedule health care votes “in the next few weeks,” (aka before he leaves for Indonesia). And he said he plans to do “everything in his power” to argue for reform “from now until then.”
