Well lookie here. Two retiring Tennessee Democrats who suddenly will vote for ObamaCARE are getting cushy government jobs after they retire from the House. According to Human Events, Rep. Bart Gordon (D-Tenn.) has been promised the job of NASA administrator in exchange for his vote, and Rep. John Tanner (D-Tenn.), another retiring Democrat, has been promised an appointment as U.S. Ambassador to NATO in exchange for his vote!

Imagine for a second if a teaparty member had done this, or a conservative. There would be news bulletins, cries of racism, etc. Yet an obvious left wing nut and failure of a teacher in Rhode Island who was fired for lousy student performance decided to hang an effigy of Obama in his classroom, apparently in reaction to Obama’s support of extreme measures to ensure accountability in schools. Dem Rep Stephen Lynch of MA is now opposed to the health care overhaul legislation, according to GretaWire. Lynch however is a far left loon, in the model of Dennis Kucinich. Democrats endorse Slaughter Solution, defeat GOP effort to force separate vote on Senate health bill
Get the popcorn ready for the weekend folks. Today, Democrats shot down a Republican effort to force an up-or-down vote on the Senate health care bill, according to The Hill. In a 222-203 vote, Democrats beat back a GOP resolution offered by Democrat-turned-Republican Rep. Parker Griffith (Ala.) that would have forced lawmakers to vote on the Senate health care bill separately from the series of fixes they hope to make to that legislation. All Republican lawmakers who voted opposed the measure, which had the effect of ending the GOP’s effort to force a vote. They were joined by 28 Democrats, who broke with party members on the vote.
Slaughter posts reconciliation bill H.R. 4872 – Steny Hoyer announces weekend schedule possible vote Sunday or Monday!
Louise Slaughter has finally posted the full text of the ObamaCARE reconciliation on the House Rules Committee page. This basically starts the “72 hour countdown.” Michelle Malkin also posted an update mentioning that Steny Hoyer announced the upcoming weekend schedule on House floor.
House will convene on Saturday at 9am with votes as early as 10am, then on Sunday at 1pm — no votes before 2pm. Possible votes on Monday before 630pm Eastern.

Moron Joe Biden blesses ‘late mother’ of Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen who is still alive

Just further proving my point about Democrats, and especially “pro-life” Democrats, Minnesota Rep James Oberstar will vote yes for ObamaCARE. Of course, being that this loser is from Minnesota, a state that elected Jesse Ventura as Governor and the clown Al Franken as Senator, it comes as even less of a surprise. This comes on the heels of flaming progressive liberal Dennis Kucinich’s announcement today that he will be voting yes as well on ObamaCARE (He was a safe ‘no’ vote in November, probably unless he was needed for 218 back then.) Politico Oberstar said:
