Two-thirds of Jewish voters now disapprove Obama’s anti-Israel policies
It’s taken awhile but the Jewish people are finally waking up to how anti-Israel Obama really is. In a Quinnipiac University survey released Thursday morning two-thirds of Jewish voters disapprove of how Obama is handling the Israeli-Palestinian relations, with 28 percent strangely saying they approve. Jewish voters of course were big backers of Obama during the 2008 presidential election, with exit polls indicating that nearly eight of ten backed the Democratic candidate.

Now McClatchy is reporting that Goldman’s CEO, Lloyd Blankfein has visited the White House at least four times since the SEC investigation begun! WTF is going on here?

2,500 Sallie Mae jobs to be cut thanks to ObamaCARE
ObamaCARE was supposed to be a takeover only of the health care industry. But it also turned out to take over the student loan industry as well, which hardly anyone in the media even bothers to discuss. So today’s announcement from Sallie Mae fA that they will cut 2,500 jobs because of the takeover may come as a shocker to some. The AP surprisingly reported that the nation’s largest student lender has told 1,200 staffers in service centers in Killeen, Texas, and Panama City, Fla., they will lose their jobs by year-end. The remaining cuts will follow in 2011, resulting in nearly a third of the company’s total work force of 8,000 losing their jobs.

Navy SEAL Julio Huertas cleared in terrorist ‘fat lip’ case
Common sense prevails! Surely those on the left who love to coddle terrorists aren’t going to be happy to hear that a U.S. military jury cleared Navy SEAL Julio Huertas on Thursday of failing to prevent the beating of an Iraqi prisoner suspected of masterminding a 2004 attack that killed four American security contractors. According to the New York Times a six-man jury found Petty Officer 1st Class Julio Huertas, 29, of Blue Island, Illinois, not guilty of charges of dereliction of duty and attempting to influence the testimony of another service member. The jury spent two hours deliberating the verdict.

Mediaite has a rather interesting discovery today in United States v. Rod Blagojevich. According to the site, following up on his 2008 claims that then-Senator Obama was one of a few people who could testify to his innocence, his defense team issued a motion today to subpoena the President to testify in court. Mediaite states that most of the juiciest bits involving Obama’s role in choosing a new Senator are blacked out. However, due to a PDF glitch, Mediaite some got “VIP access”.

Obama Administration doesn’t rule out firing on Israeli Jets If Iran is attacked
But don’t worry. According to Jerusalem Post, the United States has ruled out an attack on Iran’s nuclear program in the short term, a top Defense Department official said on Wednesday. Instead this administration’s priorities may be firing on Israeli jets should they launch an attack on Iran. According to Gateway Pundit, America’s top military officer Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen wouldn’t rule the possibility today of U.S. forces firing on Israeli jets, if Israel launched a pre-emptive strike on Iran.

Senate takes up a plan to regulate health insurance premiums
Now that the door has been “kicked through” more reform will follow. What a better way to start than regulating health insurance premiums? It’s only been a month since Obama took over the health care industry, and now Senate Democrats have laid a foundation for federal regulation of rates. According to the New York Times, after a hearing on the issue, the chairman of the Senate health committee, Tom Harkin, Democrat of Iowa, said he intended to move this year on legislation that would “provide an important check on unjustified premiums.”

Donny Deutsch’s weeklong anchoring stint on MSNBC has come to an abrupt end. Why? Because Deutsch made some “unflattering” comments about poor ole Keith Olbermann. According to the New York Times, Deutsch had labeled his hour on MSNBC “America the Angry,” and loony Olbermann was shown briefly in a series of clips of media figures during a segment that pondered what role the media plays in fomenting the public’s anger. The four people briefed on MSNBC’s decision said Mr. Olbermann’s anger about the segment prompted the cancellation of the week-long “America the Angry” series.

Ethics Panel opens formal probe into tickle me Eric Massa case
The House ethics committee has voted to open a formal investigation into whether congressional officials mishandled allegations of misconduct against former Democrat Rep. and tickler Eric Massa. According to Fox News, the ethics committee voted unanimously to establish what’s known as an investigative subcommittee to conduct a “full and complete” inquiry into whether House members or employees broke any rules in their handling of the matter. The panel cannot investigate former members.

Tennessee has become the first state in the nation to opt out of some of the massive taxpayer funding of abortion found in the ObamaCARE bill. According to Life News, Governor Phil Bredesen has received a bill that protects taxpayers from paying some of the abortion funding.
