The poll finds Republican Tim Burns leading liberal Democrat Mark Critz by 3 points at 44% to 41%. Being that this is PPP, Burns may actually have a lead of a few more points than what PPP indicates.
Tax payer funded “shrine” for Ted Kennedy could cost taxpayer $68 MILLION!
What’s another $30-68 million earmark among taxpayers? Afterall, its for the late “liberal lion” Ted Kennedy afterall. Surely, taxpayers should fund a monument to Kennedy. Too bad none of that money would pay for a monument Mary Jo Kopechne too. According to the Boston Herald, the amount of taxpayer money being funneled to a Dorchester shrine to the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy has ballooned to $38 million and could rise to at least $68 million this year, infuriating watchdog groups who insist the project should be privately funded.

It’s not coincidence that Goldman Sachs gave 75% of its political donations, or nearly $4.5 million to Democrats in 2008, and nearly $1 million to Obama alone. It’s also no coincidence that as the Marxistcrats try and take over Wall Street, they announced the corruption of Goldman Sachs to be their sacrificial lamb. So according to Politico, Rep. Darrell Issa of California, top Republican on the House oversight committee, plans to send a letter Tuesday demanding a slew of documents from the Securities and Exchange Commission, asserting that Friday’s fraud filing against Goldman Sachs raises “serious questions about the Commission’s independence and impartiality.”

When I saw the movie Back the Future II back in the ’80s, the 2015 they showed in the movie was far from what it will actually end up really looking like. No flying cars, no cafe ’80s, etc. But if this report is right, Iran’s missiles might be flying over America in 2015. According to Fox News, U.S. Defense Department report also says Iranians have gone to great lengths to protect its nuclear infrastructure from physical destruction including using buried and hardened facilities.

What’s Obama hiding this time? Senate subpoenas federal Fort Hood documents
According to USA Today, a U.S. Senate committee sent a subpoena to the Obama administration on Monday demanding secret documents and access to witnesses in last year’s shooting that killed 13 people at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas by muslim Nidal Malik Hassan. The subpoena represents a rare public dispute between a Democratic-led Congress, which has been largely supportive of President Obama’s policies, and the administration, which prides itself on increased government transparency.

What kind of economic recovery are we going to see? A V shaped recovery (down fast and up fast) or a W shaped recovery (down fast, up fast, down fast, and then, eventually, we hope, up again.) There are no signs to me that point to anything remotely resembling a V shaped recovery, though some economic “experts” such as Larry Kudlow seem to think we are in a V shaped recovery. Regardless of which we are in, or about to enter, Dick Morris says the elections of 2010 and how the Republicans act if they take back Congress will determine the answer to this key question.
Barack O’Bogey! Obama skips Polish funeral, heads to golf course
Remember way back when the press would make sure huge issues of Dubya golfing? You don’t hear a word of complaint from the press nowadays with the marxist in chief hitting the links at a record setting pace. Take for instance this past Sunday. With the massive volcanic plume covering most of Europe, no one could be angered at the decision of Obama not to jet off to Poland since so many flights are being cancelled in Europe. Surely there would have been other ways to pay respects to the Polish people and fallen Polish President. Maybe Obama could have finally visited to Polish embassy in DC (which he hasn’t done since the tragedy), or watched the funeral via a satellite feed from Poland. No, instead Obama decided to play his 32nd round of golf since taking office Jan. 20, 2009. Compared to Bush’s first term in office at this same point, Bush played 24 rounds of golf. Remember, that was a big deal then. Needless to say, the Polish people aren’t too please. One headline in the Warsaw Business Journal reads:

Also as you watch and listen to the video at about 1:47, listen to what some left nut tried as the Tea Party express buses traveled across the country. One bus was almost forced off the road by a semi driver which if the driver had succeeded, could have KILLED 14 people.

You certainly wouldn’t hear about this in the lame stream media. Goldman Sachs is one big contributor to the Democratic party (which partly explains why they have gotten away with so much BS over the years). In 2008 for example according to OpenSecrets, the year Obama ran for office, and the last congressional election, Goldman Sachs gave Democrats a whopping $4,463,788! This equals 75% of Goldman Sachs entire contribution to politics for the year! So far this year, 69% of their political contributions have gone to Democrats for a total of $693,675.
Yet somehow, its Republicans in bed with the big banks?
Barbara Boxer says Democrats need to match Tea Party energy as midterm elections near
Uhm. Good luck ma’am. According to The Hill, California Marxist Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer warned that Democrats must match the Tea Party’s energy and enthusiasm or face the consequences in November.
“At this point, I think the polls are showing that there is more enthusiasm with the tea party party,” Boxer said before taking the stage at the California Democratic Party’s convention in Los Angeles Saturday. “I think it is absolutely a fact that we have to match that enthusiasm.”
Low-cost coverage in Obama health plan not for all
Another day, another ObamaCARE lie revealed. Starting in July, a special high-risk pool will offer coverage to uninsured people with pre-existing health conditions at a cost similar to what everyone else pays. But if you think this includes everyone, you need to think again. According to the AP:
Suppose your cancer is in remission. You had to quit your job while you were having chemotherapy, and your employer coverage ran out. You can’t find a private insurer who’ll take you, but you’re lucky to live in a state that has its own high-risk pool. Still, you have to struggle to pay the premiums, well above standard insurance because sicker people are in the group. Yet as the federal program is designed, you wouldn’t be able to switch over and take advantage of significant savings.
The reason: You have to be uninsured to qualify for the new plan.
