Disgusting! Navy to name a ship after troop hater John Murtha
Just because John Murtha WAS a Vietnam veteran, this earns a Navy ship to be named after him? You might remember John Murtha, one of the Congress kings of pork before he died, and Pennsylvania Democrat who accused U.S. Marines of murdering Iraqi civilians “in cold blood” five years ago. Fox News reports that the Navy is naming its newest San Antonio-class amphibious transport-dock LPD 26 for Murtha, the powerful chairman of the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee who became an outspoken and influential critic of the Iraq war. The members of the 70′s disco group Village People deserve their names on a Navy ship more than John Murtha does.

The D-Baggers pathetic attempt at crashing the Tea Party in Boston

Twitter just donated all your tweets to the Government, and brags about it!
How exciting. Twitter just announced it’s “their pleasure” to donate access to the entire archive of public Tweets to the Library of Congress for preservation and research. Somehow, Twitter finds this “very exciting.” I find it very disturbing.
Obama hits yet another record low approval rating, this time on the Associated Press-GfK poll
The failure continues. Obama’s national standing has slipped to a new low after his victory on the historic health care overhaul, even in the face of growing signs of economic revival, according to the latest Associated Press-GfK poll. The survey shows the political terrain growing rockier for Obama and congressional Democrats heading into midterm elections, boosting Republican hopes for a return to power this fall. Just 49 percent of people now approve of the job Obama’s doing overall, and less than that — 44 percent — like the way he’s handled health care and the economy. Last September, Obama hit a low of 50 percent in job approval before ticking a bit higher. His high-water mark as president was 67 percent in February of last year, just after he took office. Last month, when the poll was last taken, Obama’s approval was at 53%.
Jason Mattera asks Barney Frank for advice on how to run a brothel and asks him about Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac
Poor ole Barney owned again. Jason Mattera, author of Obama Zombies confronted Barney Frank. Among the series of questions asked where how to run a brothel (like Barney did, but didn’t anytime about), and the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac disasters. As is typical for the Barney, just like all other Democrats, he mostly blamed Bush.

Obama’s latest power grab – financial regulation
When the financial regulation bill that passed the House last year becomes law, Obama and his Treasury Secretary tax cheat Tim Geither will acquire the right to take over any financial institution they wish to, provided that, in their sole opinion, it is both “too big to fail” and on the brink of insolvency. The House bill provides for no judicial review and does not require any objective evidence of imminent failure to trigger the takeover provisions. According to Dick Morris, once the government takes over such a company, it will acquire the right to replace the entire board of directors, fire the management of the company, wipe out stockholder equity and even sell off divisions of the company.
Democrat Rep. Anthony Weiner endorses violence against Bill O’Reilly and admits he likes to “F*ck” with the Tea Party
Hey come on now Mr. Weiner. I don’t like Bill O’Reilly either. In fact, I can’t stand the arrogant snob. But with quotes like this:
“Every single moment that we are stroking our beards and gazing at our navel and thinking about the world we’d like to be and singing ‘Kumbaya’ is another day we’re not punching Bill O’Reilly in the nose.”
Pow.
Does this sound like someone grown up enough to represent a district in the United States? Those of you who voted Mr. Weiner should be very proud. In fact, according to the New York Observer, Mr. Weiner likes to “f*ck” with the tea party on twitter too:
“I follow Twitter for the Tea Party and just show up to f*ck with them,” he said. The crowd of 20-somethings crowed.
Obama: ‘Whether We Like It or Not, We Remain a Dominant Military Superpower’
And why wouldn’t we like it Obama? Personally, I like having the U.S. being a “Dominant Military Superpower.” Its too damn bad if progressive liberals and Europeans don’t like this. Though, at the rate he’s going America wouldn’t be a dominating military superpower for much longer. I guess Obama has stuck to his agenda.

Hawaii Republican Charles Djou tied In special election poll to fill Neil Abercrombie’s vacated House seat
A recent poll shows Republican Charles Djou is tied with Democrat Ed Case for the lead in Oahu’s special congressional election, according to The Atlantic magazine and KITV in Hawaii. The special election is being held to fill the seat vacated by far left loon Neil Abercrombie who is running for governor of Hawaii. The poll, which The Atlantic said was conducted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, puts Democrat Colleen Hanabusa in third place, just a few points behind Djou and Case.

Tickle Me Eric Massa former aide files sexual harassment complaint
As much as Democrats would love Eric Massa and his sick and perverted tickle and groping stories to go away, it just wouldn’t. According to the Star Gazette, a male aide to former Democratic Rep. Eric Massa has filed a sexual harassment complaint alleging the 50-year-old New York lawmaker regularly groped him, propositioned him and made lewd remarks to him and other staffers.
“There was grabbing people in private areas,” said Debra Katz, the staffer’s attorney. “The congressman routinely made gestures implying that he wanted oral sex, and made crude propositions requesting oral sex from his employees.”
Wow! New York Senate race: Gillibrand 40%, Generic Republican 39%
While people talk about Boxer in California, or the open seat in Illinois, not much attention has been given to the two New York Senate seats up for election this coming November. It’s widely assumed that Chuck Schumer will win re-election easily in the Democrat infested state of New York. This isn’t the case for Kirsten Gillibrand however. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters in the Empire State finds Gillibrand earning just 40% support, while an unnamed generic Republican candidate picks up 39%. Seven percent (7%) prefer some other candidate, and 14% are undecided. Incumbents who earn less than 50% of the vote at this stage of a campaign are considered vulnerable. I’d imagine that means incumbents who earn 40% or less are in deep s*it then.
Joe Lieberman: Likely Running in 2012 as an Independent
This is great news! Lieberman running for another Senate term in 2012 will likely split the Democrat vote, giving whoever the Republican challenger is a decent chance at winning the seat. Senator Joe Lieberman tells Newsmax that he will probably seek re-election in 2012 and will likely run again as an independent.
U.S. Faces Shortage of 150,000 Doctors in 15 Years
More ‘great’ news from the ObamaCARE front! According to the Wall Street Journal, experts warn there won’t be enough doctors to treat the millions of people newly insured under the law. At current graduation and training rates, the nation could face a shortage of as many as 150,000 doctors in the next 15 years, according to the Association of American Medical Colleges.

Union Bosses’ Bailout Continues
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Obama administration is set to issue a rule Tuesday that will allow federal agencies to require that contractors on large-scale public construction projects agree to union representation for workers.
The executive order, which will become effective next month, is the latest in a series of moves by the administration that are favorable to unions, whose members could play a critical role in the upcoming midterm elections as Democrats try to hang on to seats in Congress.
Angela Merkel and Obama just can’t get along
Well, at least one European leader can see through the Obama BS. According to Der Spiegel, Angela Merkel is traveling across America this week. It’s a country she loves, but the German chancellor is still having trouble connecting with Obama. Merkel’s political style couldn’t be any more different from that of Obama. She’s fighting to prevent the US from disregarding or dominating the Europeans.
Left wing extremists beat up Bobby Jindal’s chief fundraiser Alexandra “Allee” Bautsch and her boyfriend Joe Brown
Alexandra “Allee” Bautsch, who is Bobby Jindal’s campaign finance director was attacked in the French Quarter in New Orleans as she was leaving a fund-raising event for the Louisiana Republican Party. The event was held at Brennan’s Restaurant during the Southern Republican Leadership Conference. The attack occurred on Friday evening as Bautsch and her boyfriend Joe Brown were leaving the restaurant. According to Right Pundits, news of the attack was not released until last evening, leaving many to wonder why there was a three-day delay in releasing the fact that the couple were attacked outside of the event. The Hayride earlier that Bautsch and Brown had Sarah Palin pins on! Michelle Malkin though says there were no Palin pins.
Two people at the Brennan’s event have now confirmed that the protest had largely broken up by the time it ended, but we also understand from someone who visited Allee Bautsch in the hospital Saturday morning that she and Brown were followed and attacked expressly because they had Palin pins on (she heard one of the attackers say “Let’s get them, they have Palin pins on”) – so the attack WAS politically motivated as its victims understood it. It was not a mugging, it was not an argument gone wrong and it was not a bar fight.
Andy Stern of SEIU to resign!
SEIU (Service Employees International Union) President and head thug Andy Stern, is set to resign, according to a member of the union’s board and Politico. The President of an SEIU local based in Seattle, Diane Sosne, broke the news to her staffers at 11:35 this morning, local time. Anyone else out there have a bad feeling about this? Want to bet Stern is going to get a job in the Obama administration? Maybe Stern is going to be Obama’s Supreme Court nominee? I certainly wouldn’t put it past him. Michelle Malkin has reported over the years that Stern has had issues with labor management stooges embroiled in financial scandals across the country. Could this have something to do with the resignation?
