What Looked Like Easy Governors’ Races May Not Be
According to NewsMax, even Republicans were looking at New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, as a lock this fall to succeed retiring Gov. David Paterson and claim the seat long held by his famous father, Mario Cuomo. Once Republican Scott Brown showed that Democrats in Massachusetts couldn’t hold the late Edward M. Kennedy’s Senate seat, however, what seemed politically impossible in the 2010 elections has at least some plausibility. After courting Steve Levy, a county executive from populous Long Island, to switch his registration from Democrat to Republican and run for governor, the GOP’s new message to Cuomo is: Game on.

SRLC: Mike Pence speech
One of the best speeches given at the 2010 had to be this one from Mike Pence
Full Speech: Rick Perry at SRLC
Probably the best speech at the SRLC for Friday April 9th was Rick Perry (unless you liked Sarah Palin’s better).
Sarah Palin’s SRLC speech
Here is something to make progressive liberal head’s explode. It’s Sarah Palin speaking at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, April 9, 2010! As usual with the stupid Youtube time limits on video, the entire speech is divided into 4 clips.

Who knew? Qatar diplomat Mohammed al-Modadi is a pothead! Was Smoking A ‘One Hitter’ On Airliner
Forgive me for lacking the knowledge of what a “one-hitter” is/was. I always assumed that term was just used for a baseball pitcher who gave up one hit in a game. Turns out, Fox News resident liberal drunk and pothead Shepard Smith to clarify what the term “one-hitter” really means. Seems the Qatar diplomat who caused the “shoe bombing” scare on United Flight 663 the other night wasn’t exactly smoking a cigarette, but rather a “one-hitter.” A definition of one-hitter aside from Smith’s apparent first hand knowledge comes from Wikipedia:
Bye Bye Chump! Bart Stupak announces his retirement
Na na na na! Na na na na! Hey Hey, Goodbye chump! Bart Stupak, the sellout “pro-life” Democrat who along with 12 or so other “pro-life Democrats” made the passage of ObamaCARE possible is retiring, and wouldn’t run for re-election this November. Don’t be surprised if you see Stupak magically get a job with the Obama administration come early 2011. More from Fox News:
Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens to retire in June
No surprise, but liberal Justice John Paul Stevens has finally decided that he will retire come June. The liberal Stevens, who was appointed to the Supreme Court under a Republican President (Gerald Ford) is 89 years old. This gives Obama another chance to appoint another radical progressive liberal to the Supreme Court, like Sonia Sotomayor. The only good thing about this with Stevens being a liberal, it wouldn’t change the balance of the Supreme Court. Early rumors have Obama nominating Solicitor General Elena Kagan, or Diane Wood. Fox News has more:
New Jersey teachers union thugs threaten Gov. Chris Christie with death
What happens when progressive liberal union thugs don’t get their way? They issue death threats! Of course, being that this is the “peace loving’ left wing in the country, no one should be alarmed, as its not the ‘teabaggers’ signing the national anthem or gathering and chanting something like “kill the bill!”. Surprisingly, its CBS2 in New York that breaks this story:
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie isn’t laughing about a teachers union’s memo that hints of his death.
The memo is the latest salvo in a war of words between Christie and the union over wage and benefits concessions
Nut job Alan Grayson interrupts Republican District Meeting
According to Tea Party Patriots, on Thursday, April 8th, 2010, Congressman Alan Grayson, Democrat in Florida’s 8th district, interrupted a district meeting of the local Orange County Republican Executive Committee. The meeting was being held at Perkins, a family restaurant.
Unanswered question: How did Alan Grayson know about this meeting? Who informed him? Was this staged?
httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Px5hJmFLqA
I hear someone in the video saying to Grayson “be professional Congressman.” Does anyone think Grayson is even capable of being professional after the past 2 years?

Democrat Party’s image drops to new record low
Wow, I wonder why? Americans’ favorable rating of the Democratic Party dropped to 41% in a late March USA Today/Gallup poll, the lowest point in the 18-year history of this measure. To put this in perspective, in the 18 years this poll has been around, the previous Democrat low was 2005 at 46%. Generally over this poll’s history, the Democrats have averaged in the 50s-60s percentage range. Favorable impressions of the Republican Party are now at 42%, thus closing the gap between the two parties’ images that has prevailed for the past four years.

Netanyahu won’t attend Obama’s nuke summit in US
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has canceled a trip to Washington after discovering that several Muslim states will be seeking to bring up Israel’s failure to sign NPT during Washington summit; ‘These states intend to exploit occasion to slam Israel,’ a senior source told YNet News. The nuclear summit is organized by Obama. Personally, I think there’s more to it then just the muslims who planned to whine about Israel.
Fishy. Linda Douglass leaving her job at the White House
Something fishy. There’s no reason given, but according to Gretawire Fishy Linda Douglass is leaving her job at the White House. It may be a case of the rats (or in this case fish) leaving a (stinking) sinking ship.
From WH Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer:
“Linda has been and will continue to be a valued advisor to this President and this White House. She was instrumental in the passage of historic health reform. We’ll miss her hard work and the cheer she brought to the effort.”
Crash and burn! Obama’s approval rating hits 43%
Fox News poll finds Obama’s overall job approval rating dropped to a new low of 43 percent — and finds by a 54 to 39 percent margin, American voters oppose the new health care law. Progressive left wingers will claims “well its just Fox News, so its biased.” Problem with that excuse is that of the 900 registered voters polled nationwide, all are not Republicans, “Teabaggers” or conservatives. Polling was conducted by telephone April 6-7, 2010, in the evenings. The total sample is 900 registered voters nationwide with a margin of sampling error of +3 percentage points.
Why did the media skip the anti-war protestors and flag burning during the weekend of March 20th?
The so called “teabaggers” so are violent, “racist” (yet there is STILL no audio/video proof of this), spit on black Congressmen (even though they are backing off this now too), yet anti-war protesters who burn the American flag are ignored by the media (including Fox News) and this is considered “peaceful.” Up until last night when Laura Ingraham was in for Bill O’reilly on “The Factor”, I hadn’t heard a thing about these left wing nuts protest. The “exciting” anti-war protest as the nut who uploaded it to Youtube described it featured Imam Mahdi Bray, Ralph Nader, IVAW’s Matthis Chiroux with the (special flag burning ceremony), Ramsey Clark and many other anti-war advocates. This is an “intense” march thru the streets of DC led by spirited DJ’s, ending at the White House. Maybe one day i’ll understand how this isn’t newsworthy and isn’t covered by any media, yet “teabaggers” are somehow deemed as so vile.

Qatar muslim Mohammed al-Modadi was on his way to meet an imprisoned al-Qaida agent
After needing a “smoke” and joking about being a shoe bomber, it seems Qater diplomat Mohammed al-Modadi had something very important to do in Denver. According to The Monitor, Mohammed al-Modadi was on his way to meet an imprisoned al-Qaida agent when he touched off a bomb scare by slipping into an airline bathroom for a smoke, officials said Thursday as they announced plans to send the diplomat home. A State Department official and another person close to the matter say Mohammed Al-Madadi was going to meet Ali Al-Marri in prison. Consular officials frequently visit foreigners held in the United States to make sure they are being treated well.

Qatar muslim Mohammed al-Modadi attempts shoe bomber attack on United Flight 663
NBC comes to the defense of Mohammed al-Modadi (via Hotair linked below):
On MSNBC, Pete Williams says they haven’t found any explosives in his shoes yet and thinks it might be a huge misunderstanding. Supposedly al-Modadi got up to use the bathroom around 30 minutes before the flight landed; he was in there for awhile and when he came out an air marshal smelled smoke. When the marshal asked him what he was doing in the bathroom, al-Modadi supposedly said, “I was trying to light my shoes on fire.” In fact, he might have simply been having a cigarette and responding sarcastically, which I guess the marshal didn’t pick up on. Again, this is all from Williams. I’ll update when I see something contradictory. Incidentally, until a few minutes ago, MSNBC.com’s own headline for this story was “NBC News: Airline bombing foiled.” Now it’s “NBC: Passenger subdued aboard United jet.”
Looks like Obama’s continued pandering to muslims is really working! Federal air marshals subdued a man named Mohammed al Modadi who authorities say attempted to “light his shoes on fire” on a United flight 663 from Washington Reagan to Denver Wednesday night. According to ABC, the suspect was identified by authorities as a diplomat in the Qatar embassy in Washington. The FBI said Mohammed al Modadi had full diplomat immunity as the 3rd secretary and vice-consul.
Paul Volcker – a VAT tax isn’t a toxic idea
Hey, what’s another few percentage points of a tax increase going to matter? We are already one of the highest taxed countries in the world, and moving towards a European, socialist utopia, why not a VAT tax just like Europe? According to Reuters, Obama adviser Paul Volcker says the United States should consider raising taxes to help bring deficits under control and may need to consider a European-style value-added tax. I know, cutting spending makes too much sense, lets just raise taxes instead!
Bart Stupak to retire?
Stupak isn’t stupid. He knows his selling out of America for a few pork projects for his vote on ObamaCARE will be his downfall come this fall. So it shouldn’t really be much of a surprise now that rumors are swirling about Bart Stupak possibly retiring soon. NBC’s First Read reported that Rep. Bart Stupak, who delivered the crucial votes to pass the pro-abortion Senate healthcare bill, is considering retirement.

Progressive liberals send Lloyd Marcus N-Word filled hate e-mail
Lloyd Marcus is black singer/songwriter of the American Tea Party Anthem traveling nationally on the Tea Party Express III tour. While riding on the bus to their first rally of the day in Davenport, IA, Marcus opened the following email from Hallie Kempt. Lloyd Marcus describes the e-mail in detail in his post at American Thinker. As I mentioned, its filled with the N-word, so if this offends you, don’t read it. If however, you want to see how the peace loving, “social justice” progressive liberals really feel about people (of any race), who don’t tow their progressive line.

Now Obama removes terms like “Islamic extremism” and “Jihad” from security strategy
If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Obama over his first year and a half in office is that his regime will do anything it can to bow to and appease Muslims. He will apologize for America, he will be to the Saudi King, he will trash Israel and now even leave us defenseless if a Muslim country (aside from Iran) decides to use a chemical or biological weapon against us. Now, Obama’s advisers will remove religious terms such as “Islamic extremism” and “Jihad” from the central document outlining the U.S. national security strategy and will use the rewritten document to emphasize that the United States does not view Muslim nations through the lens of terror, counterterrorism officials said. More from Fox News:
