Slip slidin’ away. Obama his new all time low of -22 PAI
The failure continues. Obama after setting a new record low of approval ratings yesterday has set another record today. As of May 26th, 2010 Obama’s PAI (Presidential Approval Index) on Rasmussen has crashed to -22. Enthusiasm for Obama among Democrats, which bounced following passage of the health care law, has faded again. Just 48% of Democrats now Strongly Approve of Obama’s performance. That’s down from 65% earlier.
Among men, 20% Strongly Approve and 50% Strongly Disapprove. Among women, those numbers are 27% and 40% (see other recent demographic highlights).
The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve.
