U.S. Debt shock may hit as soon as 2013 says Moody’s
Under the Obama budget, interest would top 18% of revenue in 2018 and 20% in 2020, according to CBO estimates. However, according to IBD, under more adverse scenarios than the CBO considered, including higher interest rates, Moody’s projects that debt service could hit 22.4% of revenue by as soon as 2013.
“While we see limited risk of a U.S. sovereign debt downgrade in the next 2-3 years, beyond that we cannot be so certain,” wrote Societe Generale’s economics team in a recent report.

Utah RINO Senator Bob Bennett has lost the battle for a fourth term in office after delegates to the UT GOP convention refused to renominate him on Saturday, a highly-placed source with knowledge of the vote count tells Hotline OnCall. Instead, GOPers will choose between attorney Mike Lee (R) and business consultant Tim Bridgewater (R), who will advance to a third ballot. If neither candidate receives 60% of the vote, they will face off in a June 22 primary. Lee finished with 36% of the vote to Bridgewater’s 37% of the vote. Bennett finished with 27% of the vote. Utah is not a state that will turn blue to Democrat without Bennet’s name either.
Oil Box Fix doesn’t work due to ice crystals
Terrible news! According to Fox News, a BP PLC official is saying icelike crystals formed inside of an oil containment box when it was placed over a massive oil leak and that crews have had to move the contraption away to study the problem. Chief operating officer Doug Suttles said Saturday that he is not saying that the box has failed. But he did say what they tried Friday night did not work.

Sorry Ma’am Boxer, even the L.A. Times doesn’t believe in you anymore! According to Fox News, the editors at the biggest newspaper on the West Coast, who were expected to endorse Sen. Barbara Boxer in her primary campaign against some token opposition, have decided to remain neutral, saying the California Democrat doesn’t display enough intellectual firepower. The left wing biased Los Angeles Times on Friday declined to offer endorsements in all Democratic and Republican primaries for governor and Senate, saying the races have been undermined by politics and money.

His name is Nicholas L. Boden. He is the Principal of Live Oak High School in Morgan Hills, CA. By now you’ve heard of the story of 5 students at the high school who “dared” wear American flag shirts and bandannas on Cinco de Mayor that offended some Hispanic Students. The five students were eventually sent home because wearing American flags were considered “incendiary.” Enough is enough of is progressive liberal poltiical correctness. If Hispanic students are “offended” by someone wearing their own country’s flags that’s just too bad.

NBC Reporter To Black Republican Lt. Col. Allen West: Are You Aligning Yourself With The “Racism” In The Tea Party?
More race baiting from NBC. Lt. Col. Allen West is a Republican Florida Congressional candidate. He appeared on MSNBC today and against was the subject of race baiting:
MSNBC HOST: Lt. Col., our time is limited, but my last question to you. The Tea Party has raised concerns that it may have, I guess, racism built in it. We have seen some racist signs at past events. People have said that is not apart of the Tea Party movement, but are African-American candidates aligning themselves with the Tea Party?
LT. COL. ALLEN WEST (RET.): Well, I don’t think they’re so much aligning themselves with the Tea Party. The principles and values I espouse: limited government, lower taxes, individual responsibility, accountability, liberty and honoring the traditions of our Constitutional Republic are connecting me with those grassroots Americans that attend Tea Party rallies. And I’ve spoken to four or five of those rallies and I’ve not seen any racist type of signs.
White House is furious at Putin for snubbing Biden
Russian president Vladimir Putin refused to let Prince Charles and Joe Biden attend a Red Square parade of allied and Russian troops, and the White House isn’t too happy about this. The parade parade in Red Square was to mark the 65th anniversary of the end of the second world war, according to the UK Guardian. Russia invited Gordon Brown and other heads of state to attend the Kremlin’s celebrations on Sunday – the biggest ever. But with the prime minister unable to attend because of the general election, the Foreign Office suggested Prince Charles instead.

Outrageous! Mosque going up in NYC building damaged on 9/11
According to the AP/Breitbart. two Muslim organizations have partnered to open the mosque and cultural center in lower Manhattan, saying the $100 million project will create a venue for mainstream Islam and a counterbalance to radicalism. It earned a key endorsement this week from influential community leaders. Needless to say, some 9/11 victims’ families said they were angered that it would be built so close to where their relatives died.
Obama cut special deal with BP, exempting its Gulf of Mexico oil rig from environmental impact study
Here’s another example of what being the biggest receiver of BP political donations in 2008 gets you. According to the Washington Post, Obama’s Interior Department exempted BP’s calamitous Gulf of Mexico drilling operation from a detailed environmental impact analysis in 2009. Government documents, after three reviews of the area concluded that a massive oil spill was “unlikely”.
Only 39% Would Vote to Re-elect Obama
LOL! How’s that hopey changey thing working out for ObamaBots? According to Hotline On Call, only 39% of voters said they would vote to re-elect Obama if the election were held today, while 50% say they would vote for someone else. A quarter of voters would definitely vote to re-elect Obama, while 37% would definitely vote for someone else.
Voters have lost faith in Obama to craft solutions to the country’s economic challenges. Just 39% say they trust Obama more than GOPers in Congress, while 32% say they believe the GOP has the right ideas. That 7-point gap is down from a 29-point Obama advantage in the April ’09 poll.

Progressive liberals are probably on suicide watch today. Greece is collapsing under liberal government policies, conservatives may win in the UK elections, and now Navy SEAL Matthew McCabe has been found not guilty assaulting a suspected terrorist. You may remember this is the terrorist “fat lip” case, in which two other Navy SEALs were cleared of all charges. Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), was facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.
Stock Market plunges nearly 1000 points mainly due to “trading error”
It was crazy! For about a half hour the stock market when from -200 to nearly -1000 to 998.50. Wall Street was in a panic, people were blaming the incredible selloff on the riots in Greece. Turns out according to CNBC the massive selloff was mainly triggered by a “trading error.” According to multiple sources, a trader entered a “b” for billion instead of an “m” for million in a trade possibly involving Procter & Gamble [PG 60.75 -1.41 (-2.27%) ], a component in the Dow. Sources tell CNBC the firm in question that handled the erroneous trade is Citigroup [C 4.04 -0.14 (-3.35%) ]. The bank said it has no evidence of a bad trade but is investigating the situation

First it was RINO John McCain in Arizona who (up until recently) supported amnesty, closing GITMO, global warming BS, etc. Of course McCain and his team (and especially loser of a daughter) threw Palin under the bus after the election cycle was completed and McCain lost Obama. Suspicious abandoned U-Haul Truck Shuts Down New York City’s Triborough Bridge
Update: 9:15pm (PDT) – New York authorities have determined that a moving truck abandoned on the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge, formerly known as Triborough Bridge, did not pose a threat. Truck was empty. (Thank god)

A truck, smelling of gas, was found abandoned on New York City’s Triborough Bridge late Wednesday night, closing the bridge that connects Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx in both directions.
The incident is being treated as a hazardous materials scene and there was no immediate indication it was related to terrorism
New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne told Reuters a worker on the bridge found the vehicle abandoned by its driver.
The truck has Arizona license plates and is a U-Haul.
