Federal law enforcement officials call it a front for Hamas terrorists which “has been under numerous investigations for financing and [providing] aid and comfort to bad orgs and members.” The U.S. Census Bureau calls it landlord. Yes, the “famous” mosque that Anwar al-Awlaki once called home is being funded with your tax dollars! According to IPT, in gearing up for the 2010 Census, the General Services Administration (GSA) leased office space throughout the country. One location is a 6,654 square foot section of a two-story building on Edsall Road in Alexandria, Va. owned by the Dar Al-Hijrah mosque. The United States government is spending $582,000, or about $23,000 per month, to lease the space from November 2008 through the end of this year!
Left wing vandals tear down Mojave Desert War Memorial
Apparently left wing nuts didn’t like the Supreme Court ruling that saved the Mojave Desert War Memorial. So much so that the war memorial was torn down by vandals sometime Sunday night. Liberty Institute, which represents longtime memorial caretakers Henry and Wanda Sandoz, the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW), The American Legion, Military Order of the Purple Heart, and the American Ex-Prisoners of War, is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the removal of VFW property.
Labour Party leader Gordon Brown resigns as British Prime Minister
Gordon Brown announced Tuesday he is resigning effective immediately as Britain’s prime minister. In Britian, an official departure requires the prime minister to submit his resignation in person to Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace, turning over the proverbial keys to the castle. The queen arrived at the palace on Tuesday afternoon according to Fox News.
Census worker Daniel Miller beats and rapes physically handicapped woman
Have you ever heard of a “Volunteer Census worker”? I haven’t. All Census workers i’ve heard of are paid and are added to the job totals to help reduce the jobless rate, despite the fact they are temporary. Anyway a “volunteer Census worker” in Indiana named Daniel Miller is now accused of returning to a physically handicapped woman’s home this weekend and beating her and raping her. WHAS11′s Adrianna Hopkins was in Pekin, Indiana on Sunday where the crime happened, and spoke to the neighbors and friends of both the victim, and the accused.
Ed Young Senior Citizens Center who forbid seniors from praying before meals forced to change their policy due to outrage
This outrageous story broke over the weekend how a Georgia senior center called “Ed Young Senior Citizens Center” barred its elderly citizens from praying before meals. After the story went viral and inquiries from FoxNews.com and other news organizations, these left wing nuts were forced to change their policy. Residents at the Ed Young Senior Citizens Center in Port Wentworth, Ga., were told last week that instead of participating in a prayer, they should observe a moment of silence before their federally-funded meal. Officials from Senior Citizens Inc., which operates the center, had said the meals they provide to visitors are mostly covered with federal money — so saying a communal prayer before chowing down violated the First Amendment separation of church and state.

Santa Rita School District teacher tells 13 year old American Flag with “God Bless America” is offensive and praises another student’s drawing of Obama!
Perhaps if the kid who drew the American flag with “God DAMN America” instead of “God Bless America” this nutty California teacher would have approved. Afterall, the teacher how no problem with another student’s drawing of Obama, and we all know about Obama’s long time pastor. Maybe if the student drew a Mexico flag it wouldn’t have been considered “offensive.” But these days, with progressive liberals controlling the education system (and thus turning out record numbers of failures), drawing American flags with “God Bless America” is now considered offensive, while drawing an American hating President is considered fine. According to Todd Starnes’s blog, Tracy Hathaway, of Salinas, CA, told FOX News Radio her 13-year-old daughter was ordered to stop drawing the American flag and start another project at Gavilan View Middle School.

Obama Wants Israel to Scrap Its Nukes
In an effort to continue his suck up to Muslim countries, The United States, Russia, Britain, France and China voiced support on Wednesday for making the “Middle East” a nuclear-weapons-free zone, which would ultimately force Israel to scrap any atomic arms it has. According to Reuters, the move, in a joint statement, reflected U.S. concern to win Arab backing for sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program by offering a concession over its ally Israel, but Washington says the zone cannot be actually established yet. Strangely absent is any mention of Pakistan (Polk-EE-Stahn).
Elena Kagan’s undergraduate thesis at Princeton lamented decline of socialism
Cozy with Goldman Sachs, anti-military AND a lover of socialism? Could Obama have picked a better nominee for SCOTUS to support his ideology? It’s sure doesn’t seem that way. According to WND, Kagan’s undergraduate thesis at Princeton, lamented the decline of socialism in the country as “sad” for those who still hope to “change America.” Titled “To the Final Conflict: Socialism in New York City, 1900-1933,” Kagan opined that infighting caused the decline of the early socialist movement. She asked why the “greatness” of socialism was not reemerging as a major political force.

DCCC pulls out of the Charles Djou Hawaii special election
According to Politico, The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) announced Monday that it was pulling out of this month’s Hawaii special election race.
“The DCCC will not be investing additional resources in the HI-01 (Abercrombie-open) special election. Local Democrats were unable to work out their differences,” DCCC spokeswoman Jennifer Crider said in a statement. “The DCCC will save the resources we would have invested in the Hawaii special election this month for the general election in November.”

Patriotic Americans all across the nation are being called on to ‘flaunt the American flag’ on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 by wearing patriotic-themed clothing such as American flag style shirts, blouses, ties or jackets; American flag lapel pins or brooches; and by displaying the American flag at home, on your car or at your desk at work. You can even carry an American flag with you as you make your rounds on Wednesday and really flaunt that flag!
This is being done as a show of support for the American families in Morgan Hill, California whose students attending Live Oak High School were ordered to remove their American flag style shirts so as to not offend Mexican students on Cinco de Mayo last week.
Offended Mexican students walked out of class the next day and staged a protest march demanding “respect” for “our holiday” by demanding Americans not display the American flag on American soil.
One protester, Luis Jimenez, was videotaped by KNTV-TV saying, “Yesterday, it was our holiday, Cinco de Mayo. All of, like, the Americans thought they could wear their flags and just flaunt them in front of us.”
Another Mexican protester was videotaped by KRON-TV ripping an American flag out of the hands of an American that same day.
In response, please send this message: We Americans will flaunt our flag on our soil anytime we please. If some folks don’t like that, we have an old saying for them, “America, love it or leave it!”

Illegal immigrant Juan Gonzalez arrested for sexually assaulting a 6-year old girl in Albuquerque
Maybe its time for New Mexico to take a lot at Arizona’s new illegal immigration law of SB 1070. Maybe things like this could be stopped if the proper measures were in place to get rid of the ILLEGALS in their state. According to television station KRQE, a 20-year-old illegal immigrant named Juan Gonzalez was arrested last week for sexually assaulting a 6-year old girl at an Albuquerque gym. The same Gonzalez has been accused of raping children before. After he was arrested, he told police he liked to touch children. Gonzalez was arrested for raping two young girls at party when he was 15 years old in 2005. Those charges were later dismissed by a children’s court judge after Gonzalez was found to be incompetent. Gonzales was released into the custody of his parents and ordered to attend counseling. Court records that would explain the decision to dismiss the 2005 case are confidential due because Gonzales was a minor at the time.

New York Senator Charles Schumer isn’t too happy with Obama these days. At least that’s the act he’s putting on. Schumer again criticized the Obama administration’s funding of New York’s anti-terror efforts Sunday, actually saying President George W. Bush had at times been better for the region than Obama. Bush better than Obama? From a far-left progressive liberal like Schumer? What is this world coming to? According to Yeshiva:
“On this issue I would not give the Obama administration high marks,” Schumer said. “In its best years the Bush administration was better than this administration.”
U.S. Solicitor General Elena Kagan to be Obama’s nominee for Supreme Court to replace John Paul Stevens
News broke earlier today that Obama had decided on who his nomination for the Supreme Court would be to replace John Paul Stevens. No one knew who, but the speculation was that it would be U.S. Solicitor General Elena Kagan. So who do you think gets the story to confirm it is in fact Kagan? Why NBC of course! to serve as an associate justice on the U.S. Supreme Court, NBC News’ Pete Williams reported late Sunday night. Kagan is seen by some as a “moderate”, but not to me. Even some liberals don’t like her because of some of Kagan’s views on executive power and the treatment of terrorist detainees. For that, she is considered “too conservative”. This despite the fact Elena Kagan supported a long-standing policy barring military recruiters from campus at Harvard Law School. Somehow that’s too “conservative” for liberals. Kagan also becomes the first appointee in over 40 years with NO judicial experience. Regardless, she is likely to be confirmed easily.
Latino “protester” knocks U.S. flag to the ground during confrontation outside Live Oak High School
A day after five students were sent home for wearing clothing with American flags to school on Cinco de Mayo, a “Latino” protester decided to knock an American flag off someone’s car as a way to “protest.” This among the 200 or so other Latinos who chanted “We want respect!” I’d say this a great way to try and “earn respect” wouldn’t you? It’s time for Principal Nick Boden and Asst. Principal Miguel Rodriguez to be fired! Notice also how tough the “Latino” student who knocked the flag off the vehicle acts once the car stops the and passenger/driver get out too. Pansy! If these and other Latinos don’t feel they are getting enough respect they could always head 600 miles south and get all the respect they want. They could also head “Del Norte” through the Canadian border. Maybe they’d find more respect there.
IMF Approves $38 Billion Loan for Greece – America will pay about $6.5-$7.0 BILLION
Another day, another bailout. This time it isn’t for a failing company in America, but rather some failing socialist country in Europe! The International Monetary Fund on Sunday approved a three-year, $38 billion loan to help Greece out it’s economic mess. The U.S. funds about 17%-17.5% of the IMF. This means anywhere from $6.5 to $7.0 billion of U.S. taxpayer money will be used by the IMF to bail out Greece. Aren’t you glad to see your tax money being spent so wisely?
LOL! Benedict Arlen Specter now trails Joe Sestak by 4 points for Democrat primary
Hey Benedict Arlen Specter! How’s that party changey thing working out for you? Remember last year when Arlen Specter switched parties from Republican to Democrat after backlash from signing on to the porkulus bill? He claimed he switched because he had no shot at winning the Republican primary against Pat Toomey. Well, looks like his shot even winning the Democrat nomination are slip slidin’ away as well. For awhile, Specter lead Sestak by double digits, even approaching the 20% range. Now, according to a new Morning Call/Muhlenberg College tracking poll, Sestak leads Specter 46% to 42%! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like Sestak, both him and Specter are slime, but I am definitely rooting for Sestak to beat Benedict Arlen.
Eric Holder wants Miranda rights “updated”
In an interview on “This Week,” on ABC, Attorney General Eric Holder said that Congress should “give serious consideration” to updating the Miranda warning which requires law enforcement officials to inform suspects of their rights – including the right to remain silent. Holder said that the U.S. needs to exam whether the current rules regarding Miranda warnings give law enforcement agents the “necessary flexibility” when dealing with terrorism cases.

How hard was Obama working over the weekend to deal with the oil spill disaster int he Gulf of Mexico or the terrible flooding in the state of Tennessee? Apparently so hard that he needed another golf break on Saturday before delivering the commencement address at Hampton University in Virginia on Sunday. This of course comes on the heals of another “Date night” on Friday in which the “first couple” dined at a popular Washington restaurant called Komi. Great to know the ‘commander in chief’ is working hard isn’t it?

According to American Solutions, Senators John Kerry (D-MA) and Joe Lieberman (I-CT) will push a new gas tax next week as a part of Cap and Trade. If passed, Cap and Trade could cost you an additional $800 per year for your energy costs! According to one source familiar with the process, the legislation will be unveiled on Wednesday, May 12th. Kerry and Lieberman will be without their original Republican cosponsor, Lindsey Graham, but the South Carolina Senator has pledged to work to pass the legislation. “He’ll be supportive but not with us,” Lieberman said.
