This crack as made by Rep. Janis Baird Sontany, D-Nashville. According to Michelle Malkin, the remark was made at a Saturday Democratic breakfast and was initially reported by blogger Dru Smith Fuller. Sontany acknowledged the statement when asked and described it as “a glib, off-the-cuff remark” that “was inappropriate on my part.”
