Obama turns his first televised Oval Office message to Americans into a Cap and Trade propaganda speech
Obama’s first televised started out well. That is of course if you aren’t tired of him bragging about Steven Chu Nobel Prize winner He said BP will pay and pointed to the relief efforts already under way and said the government would hold BP responsible. The speech lasted a whole 18 minutes. Nearly half of it ended up being about why we need Cap and Trade! Of course I’m no fan of Obama, but I really expected him to knock this speech out of the park. After all, he is considered such a great “orator” and staring into a teleprompter reading pre-prepared words seemed to be something perfect for Obama to nail. Turns out this was one of the worst speeches ever. No solutions were mentioned, only the cap and trade bs and yet another special commission.
