Then Obama decided to worry about BP’ paying of dividends to shareholders. No word yet thought if he’s upset at and plans to return all the political donations he and his fellow marxistcrats received this year, and in years past.

Pakistani illegal immigrant caught crossing border into Arizona

TUCSON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials confirm with News4, a Pakistani citizen crossed the border illegally from Mexico into Arizona on May 20th.
ICE says the man was apprehended by Border Patrol on the Tohono O’odham reservation and turned over to ICE.
Dow Jones (DJIA) drops 324 points on horrible job numbers, falls under 10,000
After an absolutely horrible May 2010 jobs report, in which 95.5% of all jobs added in May were from temporary Census workers, the Dow Jones (DJIA) took a big dump falling 324, finishing at 9931.22. According to Fox Business, the Nasdaq Composite slid 83.86 points, or 3.64%, to 2219.17. The Standard & Poor’s 500 sank 37.95 points, or 3.44%.
“This economy is going nowhere. The growth we’ve got is an illusion and based on temporary workers,” said Joe Saluzzi, co-manager of trading at Themis Trading. “It’s just a disaster.”

95.5% of job “growth” in May is from Census hirings – Job numbers off by at least 100,000 from estimates
With estimates of anywhere from 530,000-575,000 jobs to be added to economy in May, many knew the vast majority of these jobs would be nothing but Census hirings. Turns out only 430,000 new jobs were added in May and the unemployment rate dropped from 9.9% to 9.7%. Of the 430,000 new jobs “created” in May, 411,000 or 95.5% of those jobs came from Census hirings! Goldman Sachs was projecting a payroll growth number of about 700,000. Private-sector payrolls increased by only 41,000, far from expecations. One may be, ask why did the unemployment rate drop by 0.2%? The reason for the decline according to the National Review is because 322,000 people dropping out of the labor force. While unemployment dropped by 287,000 to 15 million, employment also fell, dipping 35,000 to 139.4 million.

Apparently deadfish Rahm Emanuel was too busy trying to fix primaries so he couldn’t find the time to pay his property taxes. Deadfish Rahm Emanuel and his wife accumulated a $445.56 penalty for the payment delay on their four-bedroom Ravenswood home. On March 2, when property taxes were due, Emanuel owed about $7400. But after Newsradio 780 (CBS in Chicago) brought it to his attention he suddenly decided to pay up. Amazing huh?
BP successfully places containment cap atop the gushing oil well
Here’s a bit of hope and maybe change for you. According to Fox News, BP has placed a containment cap atop the damaged undersea well that has been gushing oil into the Gulf of Mexico since April, the U.S. Coast Guard said in a statement Thursday night. While there is no guarantee this will spot the spewing oil, and results of the cap wouldn’t even be known for 12-24 hours, it’s at least SOME good news. Even if the cap is successful, it will only be a partial fix though, which is still better than the current situation.
“The placement of the containment cap is another positive development in BP’s most recent attempt to contain the leak. However, it will be some time before we can confirm that this method will work and to what extent it will mitigate the release of oil into the environment,” Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen said in the statement.
“Even if successful, this is only a temporary and partial fix and we must continue our aggressive response, operations at the source, on the surface and along the Gulf’s precious coastline,” he added.
Obama cancels trip to Australia and Indonesia for a second time
Last time Obama canceled trips to Asia it was because of his behind the scenes work to get ObamaCARE passed. This time, I guess it’s because of the oil spill. Robert Gibbs issued the following statement early Thursday:
“President Obama spoke tonight with Prime Minister Rudd of Australia, and with President Yudhoyono of Indonesia. President Obama expressed his deep regret that he has to postpone his trip to Asia that was scheduled for later this month. The President looked forward to rescheduling so that he can visit both countries soon.

Obama regime to pressure Israel to end blockade of Gaza
Good news for the progressive nutjobs and muslim terrorists! After sitting 20 years in an anti-semitic Jew hating church and directing the US State Dept to support anti-Jewish terror by reaching out to Hamas and Hezbollah the writing has already been on the wall. According to the New York Times, the Obama regime now officially considers Israel’s blockade of Gaza to be “untenable” and plans to press for another approach. The regime officials say that Israel’s attack on the terrorist flotilla trying to break the siege and the resulting international condemnation create a new opportunity to push for increased engagement with the Palestinian Authority and a less harsh policy toward Gaza.
“There is no question that we need a new approach to Gaza,” said one official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the policy shift is still in the early stages. He was reflecting a broadly held view in the upper reaches of the administration.
Day 45 of oil spill: Obama plans photo op in Louisiana on Friday, BP touts “milestone” after cutting off a busted oil pipe
As Obama planned yet another photo op in Lousiana on Friday (Day 46) of the BP oil spill, BP is claiming a “milestone.” The poor arrogant BP CEO Tony Hayward who “just wants his life back” said the company should know within 12 or 24 hours whether their latest attempt to cap the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is working, touting a “milestone” maneuver that he admitted was risky work. According to Fox News, Hayward hailed the company’s work Thursday after underwater robots successfully sheared off a busted oil pipe spewing millions of gallons of crude into the Gulf, telling reporters that the company would have a “fully sealed” containment system in place by the end of June.

Jan Brewer’s meeting with Obama today yielded a whole lot of nothing for the state of Arizona. Jan Brewer wants the border secured and a wall built at the border. Instead Brewer will get an adminstration “official” to visit Arizona within a month or so, and a handful of National Guard desk jobs who wouldn’t even bother with enforcing illegal immigration. Brewer met with Obama to discuss the state’s new law clamping down on illegal immigrants that the White House opposes. The meeting comes as Justice Department officials consider suing the state in a bid to block the law, which makes it a state crime to be in the country illegally.
Obama has blasted the law, which takes effect July 29, as “misguided” and warned that it could violate civil rights and lead to racial profiling.

“There’s a concerted effort behind promoting these kinds of laws on a state-by-state basis by people who have ties to white supremacy groups,” said the lawmaker, who is of Mexican descent. “It’s been documented. It’s not mainstream politics.”

Obama’s terrorist pals Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn helped organize the terrorist flotilla group
Surprise surprise! According to the Washington Examiner, former Weather Underground leaders William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, as well as Code Pink founder Jodie Evans, helped organize the “Free Gaza Movement”, which launched the six-ship flotilla from Turkey to Israel that ended in a violent clash with Israeli Defense Forces. In January, the trio were spotted in Egypt attempting to stir up crowds on the streets with 1,400 other left-wing activists after the Egyptian government refused to allow Free Gaza Movement members to enter the Gaza Strip. About 100 marchers were eventually allowed to cross the border, where they were met by former Hamas prime minister Ismail Haniyeh.

McCartney is the third winner – following Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.
Census adds 425,000 jobs in May to artificially spike job numbers
When the job numbers come out on Friday, the numbers will be artificially inflated by temporary Census hirings. According to The Hill, Economist Mark Zandi of Moody’s.com projects the economy will have added 575,000 jobs in May, while the Economic Policy Institute’s (EPI) rough projection is for 560,000 jobs. This would be the highest amount of jobs added to the economy since the year 2000. However, only 150,000 of these jobs will be from the private sector. 425,000 jobs will be added via Census hirings!
