59 percent of those polled by CBS say Obama lacks clear plans on the Oil Spill, Energy or Jobs

This must have been a real painful one for CBS. According to a new CBS News/New York Times poll, most Americans do not believe Obama has a clear plan to deal with the oil spill in the Gulf. Imagine that! CBS combined with the New York Times on a poll about Obama that comes out with numbers this. Considering the oversampling of Democrats and bias these two organizations have, I would venture to say that the numbers presented about people’s opinions are on the low side. According to the poll, Only 32 percent say Obama has a clear plan to deal with the oil leak, while 59 percent (including 64 percent of Gulf coast residents) say he does not. The numbers are not much better among those who watched the president’s Oval Office speech on the spill last week, with 35 percent of that group saying he has a clear plan and 56 percent saying he does not.

Day 64: Obama overruled! Deepwater Drilling Ban Lifted by New Orleans Federal Judge Martin Feldman

One of the few things Obama has actually done during this oil spill disaster aside from playing golf and having lavish White House parties was to temporarily halt all drilling in waters deeper than 500 feet on May 27. This little farce wa an attempt to give his so called “commission” time to study improvements in the safety of offshore operations. More than a dozen Louisiana offshore service and supply companies sued U.S. regulators to lift the ban. Today New Orleans federal judge Martin Feldman lifted the six-month moratorium on deepwater drilling imposed by Obama. According to Bloomberg, U.S. District Judge Martin Feldman today granted a preliminary injunction, halting the moratorium. He also “immediately prohibited” the U.S. from enforcing the ban. Government lawyers told Feldman that ban was based on findings in a U.S. report following the sinking of the Deepwater Horizon rig off the Louisiana coast in April.

Day 63: Obama To Earn Nearly $85 Million From Gulf Oil Disaster

bp-obama-logoWell isn’t this interesting? Check out what AdamDodson.org revealed. Obama will earn nearly $85 MILLION from this gulf oil disaster! No wonder he has all this time for golfing, parties, and never spoke to BP CEO Tony Hayward! It’s all becoming all too clear now:

“Goldman Sachs wasn’t alone either in its astute “foreknowledge” of the collapse of BP’s stock value due to the Gulf disaster as BP’s own chief executive, Tony Hayward, sold about one-third of his shares weeks before this catastrophe began unfolding too.

But according to this FSB report the largest seller of BP stock in the weeks before this disaster occurred was the American investment company known as Vanguard who through two of their financial arms (Vanguard Windsor II Investor and Vanguard Windsor Investor) unloaded over 1.5 million shares of BP stock saving their investors hundreds of millions of dollars, chief among them President Obama.

For though little known by the American people, their President Obama holds all of his wealth in just two Vanguard funds, Vanguard 500 Index Fund where he has 3 accounts and the Vanguard FTSE Social Index Fund where he holds another 3 accounts, all six of which the FSB estimates will earn Obama nearly $8.5 million a year and which over 10 years will equal the staggering sum of $85 million.

Obama budget director Peter Orszag to quit his job by July

budgetdirectorpeterorszagWhite House budget director Peter Orszag, one of the most visible members of Obama’s economic team, will be leaving his post in July—the most senior official to leave the Obama administration, according to two knowledgeable administration officials (posted at the Wall Street Journal). This wouldn’t have anything to do with Orszag’s involvement in a Love Child Scandal with ABC News reporter Bianna Golodryga would it? It might just simply be a matter of the rats jumping the sinking ship early, like deadfish Rahm Emanuel is planning to do by the end of the year.

Gen. Stanley McChrystal exposes Ambassador Karl Eikenberry and other close Obama advisers in Rolling Stone magazine profile

This should have been done much sooner. General Stanley McChrystal’s “Rolling Stone” magazine profile that is out this week exposes how he said he felt betrayed by the man the White House chose to be his diplomatic partner, Ambassador Karl Eikenberry, and comments by aides insulting some of Obama’s closest advisers. According to Fox News, the magazine article depicts Gen. Stanley McChrystal as a lone wolf on the outs with many important figures in the Obama administration and unable to convince even some of his own soldiers that his strategy can win the war. Naturally the White House has already forced McChyrstal to apologize for the exposing.

Elena Kagan in 1997: The Robert Bork hearings were the ‘best thing to ever happen to constitutional democracy’

elena-kaganAside from the fact that America is a constitutional, Representative Republic, not a constitutional democracy, Elena Kagan has a lot of splainin’ to do. With all the recent stuff to come out on Kagan, she is making Sonia Sotomayor and even Ruth Bader Ginsburg look like right wing judges! Breitbart posted the following video from Kagan given at Case Western Reserve in 1997:

MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski admits she has been “working with the White House” on oil spill talking points

msdncAnd i’m sure she’s not the only one. Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC isn’t exactly the brightest tool in the shed, so she might not have realized the impact of admitting the truth. According to Newsbusters, Mika Brzezinski could be seen reading from her notes during exchanges with former GE CEO Jack Welch, who was critical of the Obama’s handling of the spill. After repeated ribbing from Welch and Joe Scarborough over her use of White House talking points, Mika Brzezinski admitted the truth:

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Do you want to know why I have a file that I’ve been working on with the White House—and I’ll be very transparent about that? Because of your friend Rudy Giuliani who came here last week spewing out a whole bunch of nothing.

Obama’s Department of Labor Secretary Hilda L. Solis says ‘You Have the Right to Be Paid Fairly Whether Documented or Not’

hilda-solisAka, Obama’s Department of Labor Secretary Hilda L. Solis thinks that if you are an illegal immigrant, you have the right to be “paid fairly.” Isn’t it “illegal” to hire “illegal immigrants” in the first place (though many companies do). This is just yet another example of the Obama regime’s pandering for Obama borders and trying to buy off the Hispanic vote. This also gives more validity to what John Kyl claimed Obama said about not wanting to secure the borders because it would stop the passage of amnesty. Below is the video of Solis’s outrageous comments. You’d better watch it now because I have a feeling Youtube will pull it like they did other none-favorable Obama/Democrat videos. It appears to be some sort of political advertisement video starting by singing “We can help!”

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3owMAs2t2Fo

Michelle Malkin has a new column entitled: The U.S. Department of Illegal Alien Labor that takes aim at Solis.

Obama moves even further to the left to appease his hemorrhaging progressive liberal base

obamafacepalmDrowning in oil, the Obama Administration is pulling out all the stops to halt the hemorrhaging of liberal support which is driving his ratings down to the low 40s–previously unexplored territory. Dick Morris notes that Obama has already lost all the Republicans and almost all of the Independents. But he has kept his head above water with the solid support of liberal Democrats and African-Americans. But now that the Gulf oil spill enters its eighth week, with no sign of abating, he is shedding Democrats. Rapidly.

White House defends Obama’s record number of 39 golf outings

obama-golfAs usual, the White House is dismissing criticism that President Barack Obama shouldn’t play golf during the Gulf oil spill. According to The Hill, White House spokesman Bill Burton who held the press briefing today in place of the portly Robert Gibbs on Monday said the president deserves some time to relax, and said

he doesn’t “think that there’s a person in this country that doesn’t think that their president ought to have a little time to clear his mind.”

During the weekend, Obama played the 39th round of golf of his presidency. This after attending a baseball game on Friday to see his “beloved” Chicago White Sox play the Washington Nationals. Let us also not forget all the other White House parties, like the Bush bashing Paul McCartney concert, the “date nights”, etc. Let us also not forget all the faux outrage by the Obama regime and lame stream media over Tony Hayward’s attending of a yacht race back in England (which I think was disgusting as much as Obama golfing and partying.) What’s good for the goose, is not good for the gander in this regime.

Obama’s oil spill “panel” lacks technical expertise but is quite adept at talking publicly about “America’s addiction to oil”

bp-obama-logoWhat a shock! Well, not really Obama’s Gulf of Mexico oil spill “panel” lacks technical expertise to deal with the oil cleanup, but has plenty of political talking points talking about “America’s addiction to oil.” According to Yahoo/AP Only one of the seven commissioners, the dean of Harvard’s engineering and applied sciences school, has a prominent engineering background — but it’s in optics and physics. Another is an environmental scientist with expertise in coastal areas and the after-effects of oil spills. Both are praised by other scientists. The five other commissioners are experts in policy and management.

How low can Obama bow this time? King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia to visit Obama on June 29th

Obama kissed the Saudi King when he arrived in Saudi Arabia last year. Of course there’s the “famous” bow to King Abdullah in April of 2009 that Obama denied was a bow. Since then, Obama has bowed to the Japanese Emperor, China President, and the mayor of Tampa, FL. So one has to wonder how low will Obama go on June 29th when Abdullah visits him at the White House. Licking his robes maybe?

al-Qaida warns of new attacks and mocks Obama

ksmjk0Hows that unclenchy fisty thingy working out? Doesn’t seem like the muslim terrorists are any less angry at America under Obama than they were under the big tough, dumb cowboy George W. Bush. Today, Al-Qaida’s U.S.-born spokesman Adam Gadahn warned Obama that the militant group may launch new attacks that would kill more Americans than previous ones. According to the AP/Yahoo, a taunting, 24 minute message that dwelled on Obama’s setbacks, including the loss of Massachusetts Senate seat to the Republicans, Adam Gadahn set out al-Qaida’s conditions for peace with the U.S., including cutting support for Israel and withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel refutes Obama on G20 fiscal policy of more spending

obama-duhThings are getting really bad when Obama is getting lectured by Europeans on spending and fiscal policies. As Obama tries his best to “fundamentally transform” American into some sort of Greece style nanny state, German Chancellor Angela Merkel isn’t buying it. According to German site “The Local”, Merkel directly contradicted Obama on Saturday, saying spending cutbacks were now needed following the spate of throwing money at the global economic crisis.

Deadfish Rahm Emanuel to quit later this year after growing tired of the “idealism” of Obama’s inner circle

rahm-emanuel-3Too good to  be true or don’t let the door hit you on the way out? According to the London Telegraph, Washington insiders say deadfish Emanuel will quit his job as Obama’s Chief of Staff within six to eight months in frustration at their unwillingness to “bang heads together” to get policy pushed through.

“I would bet he will go after the midterms,” said a leading Democratic consultant in Washington. “Nobody thinks it’s working but they can’t get rid of him – that would look awful. He needs the right sort of job to go to but the consensus is he’ll go.”

An official from the Bill Clinton era said that “no one will be surprised” if Mr Emanuel left after the midterm elections in November, when the Democratic party will battle to save its majorities in the house of representatives and the senate.

Obama tells Arizona Senator John Kyl – The problem is if we secure the border, then you all won’t have any reason to support ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ aka amnesty

obama-constitutionThe truth finally comes out. RedState has posted two videos (one a shortened version of the original) of Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl telling an audience at a North Tempe Tea Party town hall meeting that during a private, why Obama has done nothing to secure to U.S. Mexico border. Kyl had a one-on-one meeting with Obama in the Oval Office. Basically Obama admits to Arizona Senator John Kyl that his regime is holding America’s security hostage by not securing the border because there would be no support for ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’ As you know, the phrase comprehensive immigration reform is just another way of saying amnesty.

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6qOtpNochU

On Monday, June 20th, the White House of course denied the statements to Kyl. Just like they denied that Obama bowed to the Saudi King and offered jobs to Joe Sestak and Andrew Romanoff to get out of the Democrat primaries. So we know how trustworthy the denial is, don’t we?

Road in Orlando to be named after Obama: President Barack Obama Parkway

Roads in Orlando honor some of our greatest presidents, from George Washington to Jefferson. Now Orlando (yes the same Orlando that nominated nut job Alan Grayson to the U.S. House of Representatives) will have one named after Obama. According to Channel 13 News, Orlando leaders made President Barack Obama Parkway the first road under construction in the nation named after the 44th president, and surely one of the few in history to be named after a sitting president in his first term. I don’t know if there is something in the water in Florida or whatever, but this is mind boggling. Of course, this is also the same state that may elect Charlie Crist to the U.S. Senate this November too.
