Oil could keep gushing for another two to four years thanks to BP!
According to the Christian Science Monitor, the underwater oil field still holds 94 to 97 percent of its oil, meaning that it could keep gushing for another two to four years. This is what BP CEO Tony Hayward said on Friday before popping off to jolly ole England for his Yacht Racing today. The reservoir that feeds the gushing well in the Gulf of Mexico probably still holds about 2 billion gallons of oil.

While the lame stream media is going nuts over Tony Hayward attending a Yacht race in England (which I really don’t blame them too much for), have you heard a word about Obama’s activities? Probably not. Last night he decided to go to a Washington Nationals baseball game. Who were they playing? His beloved hometown Chicago White Sox. I doubt he really cared that Stephen Strasburg on the mound for the Nationals. The Washington Post did cover this story and as usual continued to keep their lips firmly placed on his backside. Hunkering down? Maybe Steele means hunkering down on the GOLF instead of the Gulf. Today Obama decided to hit the links (again) with the dumbest Vice President in U.S. history Joe Biden. According to The Hill, The White House pool report noted that Obama left at about 1 p.m. for the course at Andrews Air Force base, and his golfing partners included White House Trip Director Marvin Nicholson and photographer David Katz.

Tony Hayward goes Yacht Racing in England’s Isle of Wight
What a complete and utter POS. This jerkoff Tony Hayward’s arrogance is incredible. Only Obama’s arrogance can even compare to Hayward’s. After complaining he wants his life back a few weeks ago, Tony Hayward spent Saturday, June 19th took time off to attend a yacht race around England’s Isle of Wight. According to the Wall Street Journal, Hayward’s decision didn’t sit well with people in the U.S. who have seen their livelihoods ruined by the two-month oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
“Man, that ain’t right,” said Bobby Pitre, who runs a tattoo shop in Larose, La. “None of us can even go out fishing and he’s at the yacht races. I wish we could get a day off from the oil too.”
Robert Wine, a BP spokesman in Houston, said it was the first break that Mr. Hayward has had since the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded April 20, killing 11 workers and setting off the undersea oil gusher. Aww, my heart bleeds.
“He’s spending a few hours with his family at a weekend. I’m sure that everyone would understand that,” Mr. Wine said Saturday.
I wonder if Hayward will understand how many lives (both human and animal) he and his company have ruined. Not like he cares anyway. Maybe the “little people” will understand.

Environmentalists including WildEarth Guardians call on Obama to fire Ken Salazar
Who knew that environmentalists were racist and anti-Hispanic? According to Fox News, a coalition of environmental groups and scientists is calling on Obama to fire Interior Secretary Ken Salazar for his “failed policies” that it says led to the Deepwater Horizon rig explosion in April that killed 11 workers and set off the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico that BP and the government is struggling to contain. I’d actually tend to agree with these whackjobs on this, I’m sure if I did I’d be later as racist or anti-Hispanic. The conservation group, WildEarth Guardians, has mobilized 100 other environmental groups and scientists to sign a letter to the president, saying Salazar, “like his predecessors in the George W. Bush administration, has failed to place science above politics and prioritize federal environmental protections above accommodations for ecologically harmful industries.”
The letter noted that some of the groups opposed Salazar’s nomination last year because of his “flawed record on natural resource issues.”
“The intervening 16 months, unfortunately, have confirmed that Mr. Salazar will not fulfill your administration’s promises to safeguard the environment in this country or globally,” the letter reads. “Rather, Mr. Salazar has either embraced or failed to reform many of the destructive policies of the previous administration.”
“The secretary is devoting 100 percent of his time to the fight to protect the Gulf Coast from BP’s oil spill and will not rest until the leak is stopped, the affected communities are made whole, and the Gulf Coast is restored,” Interior spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff said in a written statement.

Yet another fine job by Obama’s government. According to Bloomberg, BP filed a report with the Minerals Management Service that were later delivered to congressional investigators. The reports state that BP was struggling to seal cracks in its Macondo well as far back as February, more than two months before an explosion killed 11 and spewed oil into the Gulf of Mexico. Cracks in the surrounding rock continued to complicate the drilling operation during the ensuing weeks. Left unsealed, they can allow explosive natural gas to rush up the shaft.
“Once they realized they had oil down there, all the decisions they made were designed to get that oil at the lowest cost,” said Peter Galvin of the Center for Biological Diversity, which has been working with congressional investigators probing the disaster. “It’s been a doomed voyage from the beginning.”

Obama’s Biden mocking Columbus, Ohio speech/trip cost taxpayers between $500,000 and $1 million
Obama mocked Joe Biden’s “Big f*cking deal” comment today in Columbus Ohio while bragging about the porkulus bill. The speech lasted around 10 minutes or so, and cost taxpayers anywhere from $500,000 to $1 million dollars. That’s an awfully hefty price wouldn’t you say? I didn’t come up with those numbers myself. CBS’s Obama loving dough boy Mark Knoller posted these numbers.
The trip Columbus probably cost taxpayers between $500,000 and $1 million.
Air Force One alone bills out at $100,000 per hour, and the round trip is nearly two hours. Adding to the cost are military aircraft to carry limos and secret service vehicles, Marine One on standby, Secret Service, local police and other factors.
This is the same Mark Knoller who called protesters “Tea bagger protests” during the weekend of the passage of ObamaCARE. Knoller has also been known to tweet about whenever Obama got ice cream too.

As Hotsheet reported yesterday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a television interview in Ecuador this month that the Obama Justice Department “will be bringing a lawsuit” against the controversial Arizona immigration measure signed into law earlier this year. The comment was striking because both President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder had said only that the administration was considering a suit. Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer called Clinton’s comments stunning and added that “to learn of this lawsuit through an Ecuadorean interview with the secretary of state is just outrageous.” Today, a senior Obama regime official confirmed to CBS that the federal government will indeed formally challenge the law when Justice Department lawyers are finished building the case. The official said Justice is still working on building the case. So what this really means is that Obama broke his word with Governor Brewer. Obama said he’d get back with the Arizona governor within two weeks about sending the national guard to the border, instead he’s getting back with his Justice Department to sue the state.

New rules could make 66 percent of employer plans lose ‘grandfathered’ status
These so called rules were created by Obama before the disastrous ObamaCARE bill passed. According to the Daily Caller, new rules from the Obama administration that regulate health care plans that existed before the reform bill was passed highlight the difficulty the administration faces in both reforming the system and allowing people to keep the plans they like. Under new regulations issued Monday, anywhere from 39 percent to 66 percent of employer plans will lose their “grandfathered status” by 2013, according to estimates included with the rules. For plans that do not fall under the grandfathered status, employers would have to find a plan that complies with the health care bill passed March 23. Whether or not costs for the new plans will be less than grandfathered plans has yet to be seen.

RACIST! Eugene Robinson turns on Obama too after failed oval office speech
Eugene Robinson is one of the main Washington Post hacks who always complains that whenever someone dare criticize the failure that is Obama, they are simply gun-toting, Bible thumping, racist haters. Yet today Robinson writes how his “heart sank” when Obama began to babble on about Energy Secretary Steven Chu and his Nobel Prize.
For weeks, administration officials have been trumpeting Chu’s distinction at every opportunity. Earlier in the day, White House environmental guru Carol Browner cited the Nobel in a television interview. Presidential adviser David Axelrod talks about the Nobel all the time, as does Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. If there’s an official list of administration talking points about the response to the oil spill, “Chu’s Nobel” has to be at the top.
We can all applaud Chu’s accomplishment. But here’s the thing: Chu is a physicist, not an engineer or a biologist. His Nobel was awarded for the work he did in trapping individual atoms with lasers. He’s absurdly smart. But there’s nothing in his background to suggest he knows any more about capping an out-of-control deep-sea well, or containing a gargantuan oil spill, than, say, columnist Paul Krugman, who won the Nobel in economics. Or novelist Toni Morrison, who won the Nobel in literature.
In fact, Chu surely knows less about blowout preventers than the average oil-rig worker and less about delicate coastal marshes than the average shrimp-boat captain. His credentials, in this context, are meaningless. So do the president and his aides cite Chu’s beside-the-point Nobel to reassure Americans that the team handling the oil spill knows what it’s doing? Or are Obama, Browner, Axelrod, Gibbs and the others constantly trying to reassure themselves?

You know Obama is a complete and utter joke when last night the MSNBC parasites were ripping on him for his lousy oval office speech. Today. New York Times Maureen Dowd is the latest to lose that loving feeling. Dowd, who has had her lips attached to Obama’s backside since even before the election in 2008 is feeling like a little teenage bimbo stood up for a date or something.
President Obama was supposed to be a soothing change. He had a rough childhood. Michelle once told a friend that “Barack spent so much time by himself that it was like he was raised by wolves.” But he seemed to have come through exceptionally well adjusted. “His aides from the Senate, the presidential campaign, and the White House routinely described him with the same words: ‘psychologically healthy,’ ” writes Jonathan Alter in “The Promise,” a chronicle of Obama’s first year in office.
So it’s unnerving now to have yet another president elevating personal quirks into a management style.
How can a man who was a dazzling enough politician to become the first black president at age 47 suddenly become so obdurately self-destructive about politics?

Obama Gives Part of Arizona to Mexicans!
Seriously, WTF! According to Gateway Pundit, the federal government is now telling American citizens to stay out of three southern Arizona counties. It is too dangerous because of armed smugglers from Mexico. Two men shot earlier this week could be the result of the ongoing battle between Mexican drug cartels now spilling over deep into Arizona, officials say. Pinal County investigators say an area known as the smuggling corridor now stretches from Mexico’s border to metro Phoenix. The area, once an area for family hiking and off road vehicles has government signs warning residents of the drug and human smugglers. Night vision cameras have photographed cartel members with military arms delivering drugs to vehicles along Highway 8.
“We are three counties deep. How is it that you see pictures like these, not American with semi and fully automatic rifles. How is that okay?”

Today’s Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 24% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20. That however isn’t the story. Overall, 42% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance. That’s the lowest level of approval yet recorded for this president. Fifty-seven percent (57%) now disapprove.
