Unemployment Rates with Republican Majority vs. Democrat Majority since 1995

Redstate has posted a spreadsheet taken yesterday from the Bureau of Labor Statistics website. The spreadsheet shows the period of 1995-2010. The unemployment rates may shock you, or maybe not at all. The Republican period of control was: January 1995-December 2006. The Democrat period of control: January 2007-June 2010.

Remember when 6% unemployment was sign of an economic crisis?
    /Only if there’s a Republican president

Some please remove these Commies from power now, “By any means necessary”, before they can do any more harm to our nation.

Just goes to show, ONCE AGAIN, that Keynesian demand-side economics DOES NOT WORK! When will these stupid democrats finally figure it out?

interesting hockey stick chart but no trick to get the numbers higher except for the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac hide the decline method of financial collapse through faulty home foreclosures do to freebie home loans for Democratic votes that started the whole unemployment mess in the first place.

I was amazed at this graph. I knew we were in trouble, but since the Dems took control in 2007 and the wheels started to come off and they continue to this day to blame Bush and they were in control. Either they had their heads in the sand or they knew this would happen so that they could get their liberal policies passed and then claim to have saved the USA from destruction, when in fact the opposite is true. They deny it today and yesterday and tomorrow. Faced with facts, they are just speaking untruths.

That is a nice chart. Instead of the past 15 years of data why not go back 50 years and see how both parties match up. We all know the economy was starting to go into the tank before 2007 This chart does not prove anything for either party. While your only looking at unemployment, why not look at how the stock market and the price of oil has done during the same 50 years. That should give us a better picture of how each party does in office. Lets also keep in mind which party holds the office.

THE ONLY COMMENT I HAVE IS:

“WE THE PEOPLE” CONFIRM AND SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION AND THE BILL OF RIGHTS, SUPPORTED BY THE FIRST AMENDMENT!
THAT IS BACKED UP BY THE SECOND AMENDMENT AND RATIFIED BY THE TENTH AMENDMENT!

2010! NEVER AGAIN! 2012! WITH RESOLVE!

Do Loyal Americans really want to return to the Nixon/Reagan/Bush era of the, Republican agenda of Loot and Plunder Economics? The Republican agenda is to let Corporations and extremist Religious groups dictate public policy. The Republican agenda has removed regulations that protected Americans from, the Banking industry charging 25-30% interest on credit cards, 15-20% on home loans, excessive banking fees, before the Republican agenda, they would have been prosecuted for loan sharking. The Republican agenda allowed, the looting of American businesses by so called corporate riders that targeted successful companies, allowing riders to strip American companies of their assets and moving the assets overseas, along with American jobs. The Republican agenda claims to support small business like, Chase Bank, Wal-Mart, Exxon/Mobil, Wall Street, BP, and Agribusiness. The Republican agenda of Free Trade has destroyed the American economy.
