The victim told police that she went to an Independence Day party with her cousin in Horseshoe Bay, Tex., about 40 miles northwest of Austin, where she was left in a room with Anibal Escobar, 19, and Anael Martinez, 22.
Carly Fiorina up by 2 percentage points over Ma’am Boxer
Survey USA’s latest poll shows Carly Fiorina leading Ma’am Boxer for the first time since winning the primary. Fiorina has 47% while Boxer has 45%. While I’m not a big fan of Fiorina, she would still get my vote simply to get rid of Boxer. In an election for Governor of California today, Republican Meg Whitman leads Democrat Jerry Brown by a whopping 7 percentage points at 46% to 39%. Much like Fiorina, I’m not fan of Whitman. Still, she will get my vote. I lived through the 1970s with Jerry Brown as Governor, and don’t want a repeat.
Obama’s approval rating on economy crashing and burning
Despite all the hotair how about how well the economy is doing, how the economy is improving, etc. not many are fooled anymore. Obama’s approval rating on the economy has tumbled five percentage points from last month, according to a new CBS News poll, with just 40 percent of those polled expressing full confidence in his actions. 54% said they disapproved of Obama’s handling of the economy. Last month, 45 percent approved. The drop in the drop is among independents. Only 35 percent of independents approve of Obama’s handling of the economy. So as you can see once again CBS is oversampling progressive liberals to keep the number over 40%.

That 17% number was found by a Pew Hispanic Center study, not some random number just picked out the blue. Despite the 17% of all construction workers are in the United States illegally. Reid says not in Nevada. “That may be some place, but it’s not here in Nevada.” That’s what dingy Reid said in an interview with KLAS reporter.

Previously Brown had announced that he would oppose the compromise bill that had been negotiated by the House and Senate, but shifted his support after the bill was re-worked to get the $19 billion in payments that was opposed by banks in Brown’s state.

David Axelrod actually said no administration has been tougher on border security than the Obama regime

Day 83 of the Gulf Oil Spill – Obama goes golfing again!
Yes, yet again Obama has hit the golf links. I think this is the 9th time he’s played since the oil spill began in April. The Hill reports that Obama spent Sunday on the golf course at Fort Belvoir, Va. Obama was playing golf with regular links partner Marvin Nicholson and two others whose names weren’t immediately known. Obama’s addiction to golf is almost as bad as his addiction to cigarettes, and previously cocaine in his younger years.

Obama to take third vacation since start of oil spill
As the oil spill approaches ninety days, Obama, his witch of a wife and I guess the kids will spend next weekend vacationing on Mount Desert Island, Maine. Normally Presidents take their “summer vacation” in August, so consider this a “pre-vacation.” Last year Obama visited Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. I doubt he will going back to Arizona any time soon though. According to American Thinker, during the summer, Obama tends to gravitate north to places like Martha’s Vineyard. Thus, the very blue state of Maine with its breathtaking views and sumptuous fare await the Obamas, complete with an epicurean Xanadu of lush environs.

The Politico reporter is Alex Isentadt, is obviously just another biased flaming progressive liberal. Isentadt also began the story with
Add Florida Republican Allen West to the list of bomb-throwing political personalities raising cash off their knack for connecting with the country’s most exercised activists.
The story itself appears unchanged, but after numerous complaints about the Politico hit job on Allen West, the title of the story has mysteriously changed to
“West rakes in cash.”
Still more progressive liberal bias can be found in the body of the story. Politico calls Michele Bachman an inflammatory conservative while they call Florida Rep. Alan Grayson a “caustic liberal.”

Attorney General Eric Holder may file additional lawsuit against the state of Arizona’s SB1070 immigration law for racial profiling!
Now why didn’t the idiot Holder just do this in th first place is the Arizona immigration law SB1070 leads to racial profiling? Maybe he didn’t read the complete 16 page bill before filing the original lawsuit? In Holder’s interview with CBS News host Bob Schieffer, Holder explained that the U.S. may still challenge the Arizona law based on racial profiling. The original law suit was filed on July 6 on the basis that it preempts the federal Constitution, not that it would result in racial profiling.
