Private businesses add fewer jobs than analysts expected yet unemployment rate drops
The unemployment rate dropped to 9.5 percent for the month of June even as the U.S. government dropped 225,000 Census jobs, showing yet another sign that the economy is facing a vulnerable recovery. The total net job loss for the money was 125,000. Private businesses added only 83,000 workers to their payrolls in June, far worse than analysts expected. But the Labor Department still lowered unemployment rate because 652,000 people out of work gave up on their job searches and left the labor force. People who are no longer looking for work aren’t counted as unemployed.
Barf! Joy Behar may replace Larry King
How stupid can Client Nine Network get? First they hire Client Number Nine Eliot Spitzer to replace Campbell Brown, and now there is rumor that they will hire the hag of The View Joy Behar to replace crusty old Larry King! Deadline Hollywood reports that the cable news network is in talks with Joy Behar to replace King. Or at least fill the time slot that King would have occupied had he continued with his show. A deal with Behar would go against King’s wishes. On his show last night, the veteran interviewer reiterated his support for Seacrest as his successor.
“He’s curious, he’s interesting, he’s likable,” King said of the American Idol host. “If he has a great interest in politics, I would recommend him. But I’m sure there’s a ton of people who could do it. Come on, it’s Q&A.”
Hypocrite Obama could have passed “comprehensive immigration reform” when he had 60 Senate Democrats
Remember in April 2009 when Benedict Arlen Specter switched parties, and gave the Democrat a filibuster proof Senate? That gave Obama nearly 8 months to basically get anything he wanted passed the Senate without the “party of no” being so called “obstructionists.” Did Obama even lift a finger (aside from flipping off people and picking his nose) to push it? Of course not! Now that he can’t pass it since he doesn’t have the votes and Democrat being nervous about November he suddenly wants to aggressively push amnesty in a national speech.
Schmuck Obama screws up a line from Emma Lazarus‘ “The New Colossus” for the Statue of Liberty
Moron Obama does it again. Not only does he blow a line from Emma Lazarus‘ famous poem called Obama claimed that Emma Lazarus was
“inspired by what she saw and heard, she wrote down her thoughts and donated a piece of work to help pay for the construction of a new statue – the Statue of Liberty which actually was funded in part by small donations from people across America.”
A little problem with Obama’s statement. It’s blatantly incorrect. According to the National Park Service, the Statue of Liberty was a gift from the people of France. Something you learn about in Elementary School (even those infested with progressive teachers). The NPS told FOX News Radio French donors gave money to the Franco-American Union, a non-profit organization that gave the statue to the United States.
On to Emma Lazarus ‘“The New Colossus.”
The sonnet was engraved on a bronze plaque and affixed to the inner walls of the pedestal in the early 1900’s. Obama stupidly misquoted her sonnet. According to New York Magazine, he recited the line as “yearning to be free.” instead of “yearning to breathe free.”
MSNBC’s Alex Witt gets “chills” listening to Obama’s Immigration Speech
The chills and tingles are back at MSNBC! Even with the anointed one’s plummeting approval ratings. Chris Matthews of MSNBC is famous, not for having an enermously popular propaganda show, but for getting a thrill up his leg listening to an Obama speech. MSNBC anchor Alex Witt is getting “a few chills” after listening to Obama’s “very powerful” immigration speech.

Clintons distancing themselves from Obama as his ratings tumble?
Hmm. A little bit of daylight has begun to emerge between the Clintons and President Obama. As the president’s ratings drop — recently, particularly among liberals — the first signs are beginning to show of distance between the former rivals for the Democratic presidential nomination.
As always with the Clintons, the signs are made evident by a carefully choreographed two-step in which they fill their separate roles, one as an outsider and the other as a loyal insider to the Obama Administration. But never doubt that everything these two do is coordinated and orchestrated.

Nancy Pelosi say unemployment checks are the best way to create jobs
How does San Fran Nan and other progressive liberal Democrats propose to create jobs? Using unemployment benefits! House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed Thursday.
Speaking to reporters, the House speaker was defending a jobless benefits extension against those who say it gives recipients little incentive to work. By her reasoning, those checks are helping give somebody a job.
“It injects demand into the economy,” Pelosi said, arguing that when families have money to spend it keeps the economy churning. “It creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name.”
How exactly does unemployment checks create jobs? Oh I get it, more people become dependant on government, and the government will hire more people!
Pelosi said the aid has the “double benefit” of helping those who lost their jobs and acting as a “job creator” on the side.
Oh hell no! Muslims Want Their Holidays Added to School Calendar
Seriously WTF is going on with New York City? You have the 9/11 mosque, you have Michael Bloomberg threatening anyone who makes “negative” comments about Muslims, and now a group of Muslims has accused the New York City Dept. of Education of discrimination for refusing to recognize Islamic holy days on the school calendar. According to Todd Starnes Blog, nearly 200 Muslims and their supporters rallied at City Hall to call on Mayor Michael Bloomberg to add Eid-ul Adha and Eid-ul Fitr to the calendar. According to some estimates, 12 percent of the city’s 1.1 million students are Muslim.
“This is important for the Muslim students because currently they are forced to choose between going to school or observing one of the holiest holidays in their religion,” Faiza Ali told WPIX-TV. “So, it puts an unfair burden on Muslim children.”
Discrimination isn’t it? Google plans to pay gay employees more heterosexual ones
Now isn’t this a pay discrimination class action suit based on sexual orientation waiting to happen? What would happen if a company decided to pay heterosexuals employees more money based on their sexuality? I guess in this upside down progressive liberal world I shouldn’t even bother wondering anymore. Google is set to begin covering a cost that gay and lesbian employees must pay when their partners receive domestic partner health benefits, according to MSNBC who is absolutely giddy at this news.
