Geraldo Rivera: A Tentative Agreement May Have Been Reached in Moving Ground Zero Mosque
Ok, it’s dumba*s Geraldo, so take this with a grain of salt. However, Geraldo Rivera told Bill O’Reilly tonight that he had spoken to a local Muslim leader in New York, ands says there may be a “tentative agreement” to move the Ground Zero Mosque somewhere else. I haven’t heard this, or read about this anywhere else, and certainly a story of this magnitude would be flooding the ‘net by now. Also remember, this is the same Geraldo who went on TV back in the ’80s for and hour to “reveal” what was in Al Capone’s vault.

Regardless of what Obama is allowing this POS to do, this same Imam and “moderate Muslim” told 60 minutes just 19 days after 9/11 that America was an “accessory to 9/11″ and that Osama Bin Laden was made in the USA. Raheel Raza says she is being threatened by Ground Zero Mosque developer Sharif El Gamal
We aren’t the AP. We will still call it what it is, the Ground Zero Mosque. That being said, it seems that not only is Obama getting testy when questioned about this mosque, but so are those involved in developing it as well. Raheel Raza, a founding member of the Muslim Canadian Congress. Raza, along with Tarek Fatah wrote an article last week explaining how that Muslims, even the “moderate” ones know that the whole idea behind the Ground Zero mosque is meant to be a nothing more than a deliberate provocation to thumb our noses at the infidel aka, us evil Americans. Now, Raheel Raza tells the Niagara Falls Review that she received a call from a man who identified himself as Sharif El Gamal. Raza says “His tone was intimidating” said Raza. Then Raza says that:
“He accused me of ‘jumping into’ the meeting he called and then said ‘May Allah protect you.’ I was shocked and hung up.”
Raza says El Gamal’s tone was threatening and she took the phone call as a clear threat against her and not as some claim, a casual phrase meaning goodbye.
The Niagara Falls Review called El Gamal and was hung up on after being told:
“I’m confused by your phone call,”
he said before hanging up.

Weekly Jobless Claims Hit 500,000.. wait for it.. unexpectedly
Initial claims for unemployment benefits increased 12,000 and hit 500,000 for the week ending August 14. The 500,000 is the highest number since mid-November. But as has been the case for every bit of lousy economic information over the last few months, left wing biased organizations such as Reuters/CNBC always term it “unexpectedly.” Reuters who polled analysts had forecast claims slipping to 476,000. So much for progressive liberal mathematics and estimates.

AP “Standards Center” issues press release urging its writers to stop using the phrase “ground zero mosque” and call BC-NYC Mosque instead
In an age where the media and the press are basically no different than state run tv/press like you have in China, Iran, and Venezuela, yet another perfect example of the bias comes oozing out. The Associated Press. notoriously left wing biased, has had it’s deputy managing editor for standards and production named Tom Kent send out a note to the AP staff about covering the Ground Zero Mosque story. No longer will the AP refer to it as the Ground Zero Mosque, or even “mosque at ground zero.” Instead, the AP will refer to the Ground Zero Mosque as simply the “BC-NYC Mosque.” Kent also writes about Obama’s stance on the Mosque. Why this is even a factor in a “free media”, I still don’t even know.
Finally! Last U.S. Combat Brigade Leaves Iraq
Finally, after 7 long years of a war that even I as a “right wing extremist” didn’t want to see started, the battle is coming to an end. With 4,415 U.S. soldiers who who died and the 31,907 wounded in Iraq, the last U.S. Combat Brigade has left Iraq, and reached Kuwait. I would like to thank our troops for sacrificing everything they had for their country. Unlike a progressive liberal, I am appreciative of their service to this country.

Is this insanity? Or simply arrogance? Developers behind the Ground Zero Mosque will not rule out accepting money from middle eastern countries, including such wonderful countries such as Saudi Arabia and Iran! This should be the final nail in the coffin of the Ground Zero Mosque project, but with progressives in control of this country, and especially in New York City, it wouldn’t do a thing. In even more transparency, the developers of the mosque refuse to say how much of the $100 million needed to build the facility has already been raised. Here is another reason why Obama was so pissy today when questioned about his endorsement of the Ground Zero Mosque. By ALMOST a 2:1 margin, more people disapprove of Obama’s endorsement than support it. According to Gallup’s polling, 37% disapprove of Obama’s endorsement, while only 20% approve. This also breaks down to 32% who strongly disapprove while 16% strongly approve, giving this a 2:1 margin.

Obama continues to circle the toilet – More Gallup records 41% approval, 52% disapproval
Today is the 5th consecutive day that Obama has set brand new record levels of approval and disapproval on Gallup’s daily tracking poll. Ironically, it’s also been five days since Obama endorsed the Ground Zero Mosque to Muslims at a White House Ramadan dinner. At that point, Obama’s approval on Gallup was 46% and his disapproval was 47%, neither of which were records at that point. Today as of August 18th, 2010, Obama sits at a record low of 41% approval rating. This is the lowest approval rating ever recorded for Obama in ANY poll. The previous low was Gallup’s 42% yesterday and Rasmussen’s 42% a few weeks ago. Obama has also established a new record of 52% disapproval on Gallup.

After a reporter questioned Obama at a political event in Columbus, Ohio about whether he regrets commenting on the Ground Zero Mosque or not, Obama didn’t seem to like being asked. Obama got very testy and annoyed, Obama initially paused, then turned to a TV camera and said,

You know the 65%-70% of those polled in recent polling date? You know, most of the families who lost loved ones during 9/11? According to Pelosi, they are obviously being paid by some big lobbying firm or something, because no one would oppose it otherwise. Leave it to Chicago! Rod Blagojevich jury agrees on only 1 of the 24 counts
Cue the stupid “Planet Blago” animation and creaming his pants by Shepard Smith. Chicago is really Rod Blagojevich’s kind of town. The federal jury in the Rod Blagojevich trial has reached a verdict on only one of 24 counts in the case and is deadlocked on others. Jurors in Blago’s case also told the judge, James Zagel that they hadn’t even bothered to deliberate on 11 wire fraud counts in the Blago case. The jury isn’t scheduled to resume deliberations until Monday. According to Chicago Breaking News, the wire fraud counts deal with allegations that the Blagojevich tried to sell Obama’s Senate seat while governor.
