IRONY! – Harry Reid in 1993 introduced bill ‘clarifying’ birthright citizenship aka ending birthright citizenship for kids of illegals
Wish I had a CSPAN video of this. But i do find this highly ironic AND hypocritical that in 1993, Harry filed a bill that would have done exactly what some Republicans are now discussing. Ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants! The bill entitled the “Immigration Stabilization Act of 1993″ died in Senate Judiciary Committee and never saw the light of day. According to the Washington Times, in Title X of the bill Harry Reid introduced, it shows Reid sounded a lot like Lindsey Graham does today. At least it sounds like Graham’s recent interpretation of the 14th Amendment. This is what’s documented it Reid’s 1993 legislation:

New Hampshire Progressive liberal Democrat Keith Halloran wishes Sarah Palin (and Levi Johnston) died on the Alaska plane crash
Yes, fresh off the disgusting remarks by progressive liberals over the death of Ted Stevens in the Alaska plane crash on social media sites, we now have an actual Democrat, who is running for state office in New Hampshire named Keith Halloran actually posted on Facebook who he wished that Sarah Palin and Levi Johnston were on that same flight that killed Stevens, and that they had died as well. Left wing biased Politico did post a brief snippet of the story though, authored by none other than Journolist’s very own Ben Smith. Like a good progressive biased liberal, Smith’s story doesn’t even mention the Democrat’s name (Keith Halloran) until he makes a snarky comment about the GOP.

Today’s Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Obama shows that 24% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of Obama is performance as president while Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -22. This matches the lowest Approval Index rating ever measured for this Obama. Looks like the horrible jobs report, the Queen Michelle’s Spain vacation and the continued arrogance of this regime is catching up with Obama. Wait till word really gets around about the Obama regime hiring Ground Zero Mosque Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf to represent U.S. in Muslim countries.
Doughboy Ed Schultz mocks Chris Christie’s weight
Progressives never learned the phrase of “Those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.” The latest sorry example is lardbutt Ed Schultz of MSNBC. It’s certainly no secret that progressive nuts such as the stiffs at MSNBC hate Chris Christie. He is everything they hate. Small government, not bowing the union thugs, lowering taxes etc. Yet when you have a 250+ pound tub of lard on TV making fun of someone else’s weight, the irony becomes too thick to cut with a knife. Ed Schultz is basically MSNBC’s version of Bob Beckel (from Fox News). They look the same, talk the same, and even have similar stupid accents.

Ken Buck wins Colorado GOP primary for Senate
Ken Buck defeated former Colorado win Lt. Gov. Jane Norton to win the GOP nomination for Senate. Buck who is a “tea party” favorite will face Obama endorsed Michael Bennet who beat Bill Clinton endorsed progressive far left crank Andrew Romanoff. Finally, an Obama endorsed candidate won something. Too bad for Bennet, this will be the last political race he will win, as he will lose in November to Ken Buck. Despite the media’s attempt to smear Ken Buck over his “birther” and “high heels” comments, Colorado GOP and independent voters saw right through it. Charles Rangel has a meltdown on the House floor – I’m not going away
Chuckles just doesn’t want to go away. And for that, i’m happy for him. The longer Rangel’s circus drags on (And Maxine “Dirty” Waters), the better! Despite facing 13 ethics charges, Charles Rangel had a meltdown on the House floor today telling lawmakers that he isn’t going away. While I certainly do respect his service to this country as a military man before becoming a congressman, here’s hoping that old Chuckles ends up the same way James Traficant did. Behind bars. For Alaska Senator Ted Stevens killed in a plane crash
The sad end of the life of the former Republican senator from Alaska Ted Stevens ends up with the same fate that his wife met over 30 years ago. A spokesman for the family, former chief of staff Mitch Rose, confirmed to Fox News that Stevens was among the five dead. He was 86.
“The thought of losing Ted Stevens, a man who was known to business and community leaders, Native chiefs and everyday Alaskans as ‘Uncle Ted,’ is too difficult to fathom,” Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, said in a statement.

While discussing the housing situation at its near peak, the dirty Barney Frank (who the people in Boston keep re-electing year after year) was educating everyone about the dynamics of the housing situation. You think Cap and Trade is dead? Think again. White House energy official Carol Browner admitted on Sunday’s “Meet the Press” that there is “potential” that the lame duck session of Congress after the November 2nd elections could pass Cap and Trade. According to Politico, Browner appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” and said Obama is still committed to pushing the bill through the Senate. Browner also said there was “potential” for the bill to come up in a post-election, lame-duck session of Congress.
Race hustler Juan Williams says Missouri only passed Prop C because “older White People” voted
Just like a good progressive, race hustling mouthpiece, Juan Williams did what race hustling progressives do. Blame the older whites for voting on something that goes against the Obama regime. As you probably know by now. Missouri passed Proposition C this past Tuesday which allowed the people of the “Show me state” to opposed the ObamaCARE’s mandate of requiring people to buy health insurance. The proposition passed with 71% voting in favor of the measure. But as is usually the case with progressives, it doesn’t matter. Claire McCaskill said people are basically too stupid to know whats good for them, and Juan Williams played the race card. During the “Power Panel” on Fox News Sunday Williams said:

Amazing, that the revelation of Americans funding this Ground Zero mosque comes from of all places, but a bankrupt progressive magazine. In an op-ed by Fareed Zakaria of Newsweek he lets the cat out of the bag. American Thinker was the first to catch this (forgive me, I don’t read Newsweek incase you were wondering Katie Couric). To that end, early in its tenure the Bush administration began a serious effort to seek out and support moderate Islam. Since then, Washington has funded mosques, schools, institutes, and community centers that are trying to modernize Islam around the world.
We should be encouraging groups like the one behind this project, not demonizing them. Were this mosque being built in a foreign city, chances are that the U.S. government would be funding it.
I guess this why New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg “doesn’t care” where the funds from the mosque are coming from.
