Figures. Corrupt Harlem Rep. Charlie Rangel wins Dem primary

charlie-rangelKarl Rove is probably tickled pink that another establishment candidate prevailed tonight, even though it was a Democrat. Charlie Rangel sailed to another Democrat nomination for Harlem Rep. beating his closest competitor Adam Clayton Powell IV easily. Corruptocrat Charlie Rangel has been a New York Reo. since 1970. Facing 13 ethics violations, Rangel had about 52 percent of the vote to 25 percent for Adam Clayton Powell IV with about 56% of the precincts reporting. This district as about as likely to vote for a Republican as Nancy Pelosi’s, so Rangel will end up with another term as Rep. Oh and remember when the ethics trials where supposed to start this month? Now they wouldn’t start until November, AFTER the election.
