These arrogant establishment politicians just don’t get it do they? Hotline on Call has announced that murky Murkowski will run for re-election as a write-in candidate after losing her bid for renomination in the GOP primary to Joe Miller. Hotline On Call got their information from sources briefed on Murkowski’s decision. Maybe Mike Castle will pull the same BS? Murkowski was at first classy about the loss to Joe Miller. She conceded, and did not demand a re-off that would have been requested under Alaska law. Now, she’s going the typical, GOP establishment route. Can’t take the fact the people didn’t want here, so she has to throw a tantrum and run in a 3-way race.

According to Fox News, According the Los Angeles Department of Public Works spent $70 million in stimulus funds — in return, it created seven private sector jobs and saved seven workers from layoffs. That works out to a cost to the taxpayers of about $1.5 million per job. Then there is the Los Angeles Department of Transportation. They spent $40 million of porkulus money. This created a grand total of nine jobs! This works out to a taxpayer cost per job of about $4.4 million per job.

But according to in an interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes,” (and posted at Politico), the old crusty peanut farmer Carter says that health care reform during his presidency fell through because Ted Kennedy killed the bill. In late May of 2010, Wellesley, Massachusetts public middle school students took a field trip to the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center – a controversial Saudi-funded mega-mosque run by the Muslim American Society of Boston. Under the Obama regime, 1 in every 7 Americans now live in poverty. The poverty rate in America is now at 14.3 percent. This is the highest level since 1994. You remember 1994 don’t you? Another far left (at the time) progressive was President, and Congress controlled by big government progressives right before the the earthquake that swept them out of Congress that November. The total number of Americans living in poverty under the Obama regime is now up to a whopping 44 million.
cBS oversamples Democrats and still finds only 45% approve of Obama
Let’s try and make some sense of the latest cBS polling. According to the poll 45% approve of Obama’s job performance, while 47% disapprove. Yet according to cBS, disapproval does not mean disappointment. — most Americans say that Mr. Obama’s performance in office is what they expected. According to this poll, Among those who 67 percent think his performance in office has been “as they expected”. Only 19 percent say it has been worse and 12 percent say it has been better. Now i’m wiling to bet if you went around and randomly asked people on the street if this is what they approved of Obama (either good or bad), i don’t think 67% of those you asked would say this is what they expected. Of course, with only 45% approving of Obama’s job approval, cBS had to oversample Democrats to reach this number. Hotair.com breaks down how cBS fudged the numbers:
Sharron Angle back on top in race for Nevada Senate in CNN/Time magazine polling
It’s time for the lame stream media to go back into attack mode against Sharron Angle. Either that, or all their vitriol spewed over the past several weeks is backfiring big time in their faces. CNN/Time Magazine (hardly a right wing poll) shows that Sharron Angle is back ahead of Harry Reid for Nevada Senate. Angle captures 42% of likely voters polled while Reid, with all his money and power only captures 41%. The fake tea party candidate and plant by Reid named Scott Ashjian only captures 5% of the vote according to those polled.

The only real surprise here, is that the Reuters report on this is that they didn’t begin their story with “unexpectedly.” Yes, according to Reuters, a record number of homeowners lost houses to their banks in August. The real-estate data was released by a company called RealtyTrac today. RealtyTrac’s stats show a record 1.2 million repossessions this year. You thought last year was bad? It was “only” under a million in 2009. More than 3.2 million homes in some stage of foreclosure.
Christine O’Donnell rakes in over $750,000 in campaign donations one day after winning primary
I guess no one really thinks Christine O’Donnell can win the general election in November huh? I suppose receiving over $750,000 in campaign donations just 24 hours after a stunning primary win doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence in people. Why did Obama and Biden call Mike Castle?
I could understand Obama and/or Biden calling a Democrat they endorsed who lost a primary. But why in the world would either of these two dimwits call a (supposed) Republican after he loses a primary? Could it be because Mike Castle is nothing more than Arlen Specter? We already know Castle basically would vote for anything Obama/Pelosi threw at him like Cap and Trade. But the fact that both Obama and Biden to comfort him after his loss brings up an interesting question.

According to CNSNEWS, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), a division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), spent $823,200 of economic stimulus funds in 2009 on a study by a UCLA research team to teach uncircumcised African men how to wash their genitals after having sex. Don’t you just feel so sorry for progressive super RINO Mike Castle? He had the support of George Soros, Karl Rove, and the Republican establishment, and still got crushed in the primary last night by Christine O’Donnell who many people had never even heard of before. The crybaby failed GOP Senate candidate is now sulking and will not endorse O’Donnell in the general election. Anyone else having Dede Scozzafava flashbacks here? According to Politico, Kate Dickens, a senior aide crybaby of Mike Castle said he will not be endorsing newly minted GOP Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell. Being that Castle is so close to George Soros, maybe Castle and his “crew” can find jobs at the Center for American Progressive or Moveon.org after they are unemployed come January.
Kelly Ayotte wins New Hampshire GOP Senate Primary
After hours and hours and counting, Kelly Ayotte has finally been declared the winner of the New Hampshire GOP Senate Primary. This race turned out much closer than expected, basically the completely opposite of O’Donnell’s crushing of a RINO Castle. Kelly Ayotte will face flaming progressive Democrat Paul Hodes for the New Hampshire Senate seat. Ayotte’s only won by a margin of 1,667 votes over Ovide Lamontagne. Now the ball is in Lamontagne’s court. He has a few hours today to decide if he will demand a recount.
Rush Limbaugh destroys Karl Rove
Needless to say, a lot of conservatives where not pleased with Karl Rove’s bashfest on Christine O’Donnell last night on the Hannity show after she absolutely crushed Uber-RINO Mike Castle in the Delaware GOP Senate primary. One of the best points made by Limbaugh this morning was that he never heard Karl Rove as pissed at any progressive liberal Democrat as he was at Christine O’Donnell last night.
