Even flaming progressive liberal Democrat Dennis Kucinich is in trouble two weeks before the election

dennis-kucinichI don’t hold out much hope that Kucinich may lose on November 2nd, but the fact he is in trouble is shocking. In a district (Ohio) which is basically Cleveland, OH, no one would have thought Kucinich would have any competition. Well, think again. The Weekly Standard has obtained the results of a private poll conducted last night.The results of the poll are shocking, at least to me. It shows Kucinich ahead of his opponent, Peter Corrigan, by only 4 percent points! What’s next? Nancy Pelosi only ahead by 5 percentage points in her district?

Corrigan is up on radio, but not on TV. He is doing direct mail to 150,000 households with persuadable voters. He has little cash on hand—but so does Kucinich (Kucinich had $88K to Corrigan’s $35K at the end of the last filing period, and Kucinich outraised Corrigan in the 3rd quarter by only $30K).
