Keith Olbermann suspended indefinitely without pay from MSNBC all 23 of his viewers are devastated!

olbermannWhat a great way to cap the week off. Keith Olbermann already got dumped earlier this year from NBC Sunday Night football. Now he’s been suspended indefinitely without pay from MSNBC for violating NBC’s rule against employees contributing to political campaigns. Surely I doubt bathtub boy Olbermann is the only loser at NBC/MSNBC to donate to progressive liberal candidates, but when you are arrogant enough to announce it over the air like Olbermann, it forces NBC to take action and suspended him indefinitely. According to Politico, Olbermann contributed to Aqua Buddha Jack Conway, and Congress critters Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords. Now to be fair to bath tub boy, I really don’t see what the problem is with this. The NBC rule is stupid, but NBC itself is stupid. Anyone who thinks Maddow or tingle legs, Brian Williams or Matt Lauer or the other idiots on this network didn’t donate to Democrats are kidding themselves. They were just smart enough to keep their mouth shut I guess.

NBC has a rule against employees contributing to political campaigns, and a wide range of news organizations prohibit political contributions — considering it a breach of journalistic independence to contribute to the candidates they cover.

Olbermann, who has become one of the most prominent liberal commentators on cable television, has been a critic of the political donations made by Fox News’s parent company, News Corp., which contributed $1 million each to a pair of organizations trying to defeat Democratic candidates.
