Politico calls Allen West the “Alan Grayson of the right”

allenwestProgressive liberals and their media hacks are really having a difficult time with this past Tuesday’s election. I don’t know what’s been more painful for the left wing nuts. The fact they got so badly destroyed in the House and state elections, or the fact that two Hispanic became Governors and two African Americans took House seats away from the “lily-white” Democrats that once held them. Yes, I said lily-white, its a term Politico used to describe the “Republican Conference.” Of course this pales in comparison to calling ANYONE on the right their “Alan Grayson”, let alone an honorable former Army colonel like Allen West, who beat lily-white progressive liberal Democrat Ron Klein in Florida’s 22nd District.

West, a former Army colonel, doesn’t stand out simply because he will be one of just two African American House Republicans — he’ll get noticed for different reasons. A passionate address to a tea party gathering turned him into YouTube sensation and later in the campaign he drew attention for his relationship with the Outlaws motorcycle gang. Like Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, West is a strong tea party voice with a flair for bombastic rhetoric and a prolific fundraiser. Some expect he’ll become the Alan Grayson of the right.

How pathetic has Politico become to spew something as disgusting as this? Obviously, they just can’t handle the fact an African-American man took the seat away from a lily-white guy/

    The fact that Allen West is Black has nothing whatsoever to do with anything. He was elected because of his exceptional character and his message. West does not think in color nor does the rest of the majority of Americans. We really need to get over this “color” thing. We did it here in District 22 in South Florida. We voted for the best and someone for whom we could relate…someone who gave us hope in which we could really believe. West is a Republican who was enbraced by many, even the Tea Party and even myself, a life-long Democrat.

    Conservatives are colorblind. If only people would realize this… the left race-baits, and somehow the conservatives are the bad guys? Amazing.

    Allen West now calling for censorship of the media. The whole freedom of the press thing is so over-rated.
