Another progressive bites the dust! Melissa Bean concedes to Joe Walsh for Illinois’ 8th Congressional District seat

rnc-logoHit the road refried Mellisa Bean! According to NBC Chicago (must have been very painful to post it), Marxist Democratic Rep. Melissa Bean has called Republican challenger, Joe Walsh, and conceded the race for Illinois’ 8th Congressional District! This district is covers the northern suburbs of Chicago, and had been represented by Marxist progressive Melissa Bean since 2005. The district also went heavily to George W. Bush in both 2000 and 2004, but went heavily towards Obama in 2008. This district was rated as “Leans Democrat” by Real Clear Politics. I wonder if this had anything to do with Bean losing?

“This is a huge win for all the grassroot organizations that supported Walsh,” the Palatine Tea Party said in a release. “Against all odds we defeated incumbent Melissa Bean (D) who had significantly more money and media support. This will be the upset of 2010.”

    This is a strong message to the others to: listen to their constituents, and to follow the U.S. Constitution. Melissa and arrogant Phil Hare won’t be missed.

    Melissa bean originally defeated Phil Crane who was a log term RINO. At one time he had been to the Right of Henry Hyde. His constituents eventually tired of him because he was AWOL when it came to the needs of the voters. Bean was only a transition candidate until a good Conservative such as Joe walsh came down the pike!
