Indian-Americans pissed off at Newsweek for depicting Obama as Lord Shiva

obama-lord-shivaIs there any remaning curosity why Newsweek was sold for a dollar, and has been rumored to be merging with the Daily Beast? As if their progressive liberal bias isn’t bad enough, Indian-Americans are now ticked off because of Newsweek’s depiction of Obama on its latest cover as the Hindu diety, Lord Shiva. According to Fox News, the Newsweek cover shows Obama with several arms carrying policy issues while balancing on one leg. The headline reads: “God of All Things” with a subtitle, “Why the Modern Presidency May be too Much for One Person to Handle.”

Outrageous! Obama must be the only American President i’ve ever heard excuses made for that the Presidency is too much for one person to handle. As inept as W was, I never heard that excuse for him. Never heard the progressive liberal media make these excuses for Clinton, Reagan, or even the moron Jimmy Carter. If the presidency is too much to handle for poor Obama, then let him resign!

    Actually, in a way they might be right. The presidency has taken on way too much power and authority over the last several decades, just like the federal government has taken on way too much power. It’s just another consequences of the steering away from federalism.

    Which of course presents the answer to the problem-a return to federalism and to the original limits of the powers of the executive branch.
