According to The Wall Street Journal the ethics committee lawyer Blake Chisam told the panel on Thursday the senior Rangel’s conduct

George Soros crony John Podesta calls on Obama to use “armed forces” to push left wing agenda
John Podesta was once Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff. He also worked on the Obama regime’s transition team after Obama won the election in 2008. Now John Podesta is the head of George Soros funded Center for American Progress. As is typical for progressive liberals who can’t deal with the fact that their idelogy was rejected in the midterm elections, Podesta is calling on Obama to rule via executive order, and other means to circumvent congress. Here is what Podesta told The Daily Caller:
“I think most of the conversation since the election has been about how President Obama adjusts to the new situation on Capitol Hill,” Center for American Progress head and former Bill Clinton Chief of Staff John Podesta told the Daily Caller. “While that’s an important conversation, it simply ignores the president’s ability to use all levels of his power and authority to move the country forward.”
Chris Dodd tweets: “U love torturing me with this sh**”
Potty mouth progressives strike again. According to CNN, those who follow friend of Angelo Chris Dodd received a nice little profanity laced tweet at about 8:36AM PST. Dodd has 13,000 followers and they saw this:
“U love torturing me with this sh**.”
The tweet was deleted by his staff after they noticed what potty much Dodd tweeted. Dodd’s office later released a statement calling his profanity laced tweet a “technical mistake.”

I just don’t understand the state of West Virigina. Obama has probably his lowest approval ratings of any state there. They are a conservative state that votes for Republicans during Presidential elections, and yet they elected this nimrod Jay Rockefeller as their Senator? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. This is the same state that continued to elect KKK member Robert Byrd year and year, and drank the Joe Manchin kool-aide and voted him to replace Byrd. The moonbat Olbermann has a new “cuter” name for the segment now called “Worst Person In The World (Not Really) Segment.” One day before Keith Olbermann’s progressive Marxist Democrat party got slaughtered in the 2010 midterms, he decided to suspend his “Worst Person In The World segment.” At the time, he Olbermann claimed it was in response to the Rally to Restore Sanity rally. The rally, much like Olbermann’s NBC football career and previous sportscasting careers at ESPN and local stations in Los Angeles was a complete and total failure.
GOP ready to force vote on defunding NPR
NPR aka National Progressive Radio back start asking George Soros for more money. According to The Hill, House Republicans have announced that they plan to force a floor vote on defunding NPR. This is of course in response to the firing of analyst Juan Williams last month and also because this idea was the winner of the conference’s weekly “YouCut” contest. Youcut of course is site in which the public votes online on spending items they want eliminated.
What do Lisa Murkowski and segregationist Strom Thurmond have in common?
Both Strom Thurmond and now Lisa Murkowski have been elected to the U.S. Senate as a write-in candidate. Strom Thurmond won the election back in 1954 as a Democrat segregationist when the party didn’t like him endorsing a Republican Dwight Eisenhower for the Presidency in 1952. Lisa Murkowski has won back her Alaska Senate seat after being a sore loser after the primary. Both are obviously really quality people, or at least Thurmond was (/sarcasm).

Obama and Eric Holder’s civilian trial experiment for GITMO Muslim terrorists proves to be another historic epic failure. Ahmed Ghailani was acquitted on all but 1 count in the 1998 Kenya and Tanzania bombings that killed over 220 people, which included 12 Americans. Total number of charges Ghailani was acquitted on was 280. CNN even admits that:

Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger not a fan of the TSA’s gropefest
Haven’t heard much from or about the hero airline pilot Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger since he landed that US Airways plane in the Hudson River last year. One thing to get Sully back speaking is this whole TSA groping that’s been going on at airports all over America. Doesn’t look like Sully is a big fan of people getting “their junk touched” either. In an interview with CNN, Sullenberger argued that transport authorities should trust pilots and flight attendants because “we’re trusted partners” who are already “thoroughly screened.”

I already mentioned how the left is drumming up the notion that Bristol Palin’s success on Dancing with the Stars (which I don’t watch, and wouldn’t watch) is a part of some vast right-wing or tea party conspiracy. I would think that if the tea party was strong enough to affect the outcome of some stupid dancing TV show, they would also be strong enough to get rid of the leftists that populate these networks posing as journalists. Now left wing extremists have gone a step further. Some left wing nut job named Steven Cowan was arrested last night after shooting his television set with a shotgun and then turning the gun on his wife. According to Fox News, this lead to an overnight standoff with police.

California Rep. Kevin McCarthy elected House Majority whip for 112th Congress
Kevin McCarthy is from one of the few parts of California that isn’t ruined by San Francisco style progressive liberalism. Representing California’s 22nd district (Bakersfield), the Kevin McCarthy will become the GOP’s House Majority WHIP in the 112th Congress. Here is what McCarthy had to say:
“It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to serve my colleagues as the Majority Whip,” McCarthy stated in a press release. “I believe that together we can usher in the era of America’s comeback through hard work and a strong commitment to our conservative principles.”
Eric Cantor elected House Majority Leader
Another no surprise. Eric Cantor has been elected the House Majority Leader for the 112th Congress. Cantor ran unopposed. According to The Hill, newly elected congressman Tim Scott, gave Cantor’s nomination speech. The nomination was seconded by West Virginia Republican Rep. Shelley Moore-Capito. Eric Cantor is also the first Jewish House Majority leader. Obviously Democrats are biased against Jews for never having one in this position.
John Boehner unanimously elected Speaker of the House on his 61st birthday
Unlike the drama that played out on the Democrat side electing Nancy Pelosi as Democrat House Minority Leader, there was no drama in electing the Speaker of the House for the 112th Congress. Today, John Boehner was unanimously elected Speaker of the House. It came at a nice time for him, his 61st birthday. Since all the tan and smoking jokes by Obama and the rest of the progressive liberals failed, maybe they can start mocking his age now. In what must have been a really painful piece to write, the New York Times has what he said upon being elected:

Thank you Democrats! Although no surprise, Nancy Pelosi easily won the election for Democrat House Miniority Leader via a secret ballot by a margin of 150-43. According to MSNBC, Pelosi had four members speak on her behalf in the Democrats’ closed-door meeting. Those who spoke on Pelosi’s behalf being closed doors included Rep. Mike Doyle of Pennsylvania, Henry Cuellar (TX), Gwen Moore (WI), and Jared Polis (CO). Heath Shuler the loser and phony “conservative” Democrat was nominated by Rep. Jim Matheson of Utah. Reps. Larry Kissell (NC) and Mike Ross (AR) spoke for Shuler during the nominating process as well.

I don’t watch Dancing with the Stars, I don’t care who wins Dancing with the Stars, but I do enjoy the progressive liberal meltdown over what’s happening on the ABC show. Bristol Palin apparently advanced to the “finals” of Dancing with the Stars while someone named “Brandy” was booted. I don’t know who Brandy is, I don’t care who Brandy is, but apparently she lost and Bristol Palin won due to a big tea party conspiracy! This is not a recent conspiracy though. Even before tonight’s show, Good Morning America devoted 7 minutes to talking about the evil “right wing conspiracy”.
