Save Obama’s presidency! Have Barney Frank or Rachael Maddow challenge him in 2012!

obamaoOk. The article that suggested the “people” in the title of this post was written by a Rabbi named Michael Lerner. He is so bummed at Obama’s lack of leadership skills and forcing an even futhur left wing progressive agenda, he wents far left loons to challenge him in a primary for 2012. What’s the matter? Left wing nuts aren’t satisfied with owning banks, car companies and taking over America’s health care system? They aren’t satisfied with the most radical left wing President in modern history? Nothing will ever satisfy progressives. Not only does Rabbi Lerner suggest Frank or Maddow, he also suggests such great people like Al Franken, Maxine Waters, Alan Grayson, and even playboy mag flipping John Conyers! Surely one of these challengers would surely beat Obama in the primary, let alone win a general elections. This is what happens when whiny, tantrum throwing progressive liberals get into power. They grab more power, and whine when they can’t get even more!

With his base deeply disillusioned, many progressives are starting to believe that Obama has little chance of winning reelection unless he enthusiastically embraces a populist agenda and worldview – soon. Yet there is little chance that will happen without a massive public revolt by his constituency that goes beyond rallies, snide remarks from television personalities or indignant op-eds.
