Figures, Rahm Emanuel already back on ballot for Chicago mayoral race
That didn’t take long did it? Only in Chicago with the union thugs could deadfish Rahm Emanuel get thrown off the ballot one day, and be put back on the next. NBC Chicago reported that the Illinois Supreme Court will consider Rahm Emanuel’s appeal and has granted deadfish Rahm Emanuel a partial “stay”, which puts the slimy slithering progressive liberal and former Obama Chief of Staff back on the ballot.
According to the order, “Board of Election is directed that if any ballots are printed while this court is considering the case the ballots should include the name of petitioner Rahm Emanuel as a candidate for the mayor of City of Chicago.”

As the far left progressive nuts spent their entire weekend crying over MSNBC firing Keith Olbermann and sat around at their computers waiting for a statement from him, today finally comes one. Olbermann’s first “public statement” since the firing was via his twitter account, announcing his own personal #FOK (Friends of Keith) hashtag. Yes, we knew how arrogant the guy was, but announcing your own personalized hashtag? Actually, I should correct myself. Another day, another far left loon leaves the Obama regime (to eventually be replaced by another far left loon.) Politico had the first report about Browner leaving the White House, and as usual it’s another puff piece. Carol Browner, will leave the Obama regime “in coming weeks.” Of course no one in the media, or any of the prominent newspapers reported that Browner is a socialist when she was first “hired.” According to Michelle Malkin, Browner may be ticked off because she lost out to health care czar Nancy DeParle for the deputy chief of staff position.
Jared Lee Loughner pleads not guilty on attempted murder charges and smiles during the whole process
Jared Lee Loughner, the “man” accused of the mass shooting in Tucson pleaded not guilty Monday to charges he tried to kill Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and two of her aides. According to Fox News/AP, The San Diego based U.S. District Judge Larry Burns asked Loughner’s attorney Judy Clarke if there was any question about Loughner’s ability to understand the case against him. Clarke replied there weren’t any issues. Judge Burns set a March 9 hearing to consider motions in Loughner’s case. Loughner appeared to be smiling during the entire process. Creepy.

What a sad city Chicago is. They lose in the NFC championship game on Sunday, and today get their favored mayoral candidate tossed off the ballot because of residency issues. The Chicago mayoral election is less than a month away on February 22nd. Rahm Emanuel of course isn’t happy, and neither are his progressive liberal union thug backers. According to CBS in Chicago deadfish Rahm believes the people of Chicago “deserve the right” to pick whom they want for mayor.

DICK Durbin: We can’t be so laser focused on the deficit
With all the talk from progressive liberal Democrats and their faux concern for the national deficit, Dick Durbin of Illinois revealed the Democrat’s true attitude towards the deficit. During an interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, Durbin said this:
WALLACE: Well, maybe, and I think a lot of people would argue it could have been much worse. But the fact is, with everything you talked about and with those thousands of new regulations, we’ve ended up with at this point still 9.4 percent unemployment.
DURBIN: Which is unacceptable, but we’re at least moving in the right direction. The president I’m sure in the State of the Union address will make it clear, his highest priority is putting America back to work, making sure that our nation is more competitive.
You know, Chris, we just had a visit from the Chinese president, and I had a chance to meet him when he came to Chicago. It’s a reminder to us that we are in competition in this world for jobs.
DURBIN: And if we are going to make it in the USA, which we can make, in terms of our success and in terms of making products, we have to focus on educating and innovating. We can’t be so laser focused on the deficit that we ignore the obvious. We are still in a recession. We need to put America back to work. You can’t end the deficit unless you start putting America back to work.
Then Durbin goes off on another tangent, complaining that if the GOP were to fully repeal the ObamaCARE bill, it would supposedly add to the deficit.
DURBIN: Harry Reid has said we’re not going to bring up repeal of health care reform. Now, if some Republican senator wants to offer it as an amendment at some point, it’s possible they will. It’s possible we’ll face that vote.
But having spoken to my members in the Democratic Caucus, with Senator Reid, we feel there’s still strong support for health care reform.
Let me remind the people who are listening, the Congressional Budget Office told us that health care reform reduces our deficit. So, when Senator McConnell says repeal it, he is adding over $200 billion, maybe $300 billion more to the deficit.
Yet Durbin, Wallace, the rest of the media and Democrats ignore the fact that the CBO earlier this month sent an e-mail to Capitol Hill staffers that reveals the truth. The e-mail explained that over the next 10 years, repealing ObamaCARE would REDUCE the deficit by $230 billion.
CNN “Reliable Sources” meltdown over Olbermann firing
So this is where the shyster David Shuster ended up? Could Olbermann be far behind now that NBC has dumped his ass like a cheap suit? CNN’s weekly lineup has been a disaster in the ratings, especially with their new Client Number Nine/Parker show. We’ll see I guess. But during a segment of CNN’s “Reliable Sources” which is of course an oxymoron, the topic of the MSNBC firing of Keith Olbermann naturally came up. Shuster was on the panel with David Zurawik of the Baltimore Sun and Jane Hall. During the discussion of Olbermann’s firing, the topic of Fox News of course came up. Here is one of the better quotes from the “panel” about Olbermann from Newsbusters:
KURTZ: Olbermann had great passion. Television likes that. But he also often made it personal. In fact, you were “The Worst Person in the World” I think on a couple of occasions.

Glenn Beck the prophet – Predicted back in November Olbermann would be gone from MSNBC with Comcast takeover
Who would have thunk it? Glenn Beck saw the future and Keith Olbermann got kicked to the curb by NBC. While Comcast claims they had nothing to do with Olberdouche’s firing, does anyone really believe it? Do you honestly think that Comcast wanted to deal with all the baggage, arrogance, and problems that Olbermann brought? Olbermann was dumped by the network once already back in 2002, he was dumped by ESPN years ago, and dumped by various L.A. newscasts (as a sports reporters) in the 80s and early 90s. Why deal with that taking over a mega company like NBC/Universal? Glenn Beck called this last November, and Olbermann even featured Beck as one of his “Worst persons in the world” on November 23rd, 2010.
TMZ: Keith Olbermann claimed his was “underpaid” at $7 million per year wanted more money
Usually you hear about big headed sports figures who complain they are “underpaid” when they make a “measly” $7 million per year. I guess Olbermann had a back to the future moment when he was at ESPN and thought he was “underpaid” like an athlete. Yes, according to TMZ, Olbermann’s agent went to NBC complaining that Olbermannn was “underpaid” at $7 million per year and wanted more money. NBC declined, the the rest is history.

The new MSNBC lineup has been announced now that Keith Olbermann has been fired. Lawrence O’Donnell, the admitted socialist who hosted a show called “The Last Word” will replace Olbermann at 8pm EST, fatty eD Schultz will move to 10pm EST, and the “Young Turks” will take over Schultz’s old time slot. MSNBC fires Keith Olbermann! Good night and good riddance!
Comcast is claiming they had nothing to do with this firing. Obviously they are getting hammered by far left kooks on twitter and elsewhere. Here’s their statement.
LOSER! MSNBC has dumped the loser Keith Olbermann, as tonight was the last episode of Countdown. Some might call it Olbermann quitting Countdown, but the reality is that NBC terminated the dimwit’s contract. Comcast has not completed the purchase of NBC from GE, but one has to wonder if this was a “condition of the the sale.” Here is the statement from NBC:
