Recall effort underway against Pima County Sheriff Dupnik
I don’t know if it will go anywhere, but a recall effort has begun against mall cop Sheriff Dupnik of Pima County. Ignoring Dupnik’s complete lack of action against Jared Lee Loughner prior to the shooting incident, despite many police visits to his home and complaints, Dupnik’s rant just hours after the shooting that “right wingers” caused the shooting have pissed off people everywhere across the country. Dupnik even called his own state of Arizona the “mecca of prejudice and bigotry.” Dupnik even called Tucson the “tombstone of the U.S.” Not too smart there Paul Blart, err I mean Clarence Dupnik. KGUN reports that an organization called Americans Against Immigration Amnesty (AAIA), has announced a recall effort. Dan Baltes who is the executive director released the following statement:

So much for the “civility” and toning down the “rhetoric” by progressive liberals. Surely sitting together during next week’s State of the Union will tone down the rhetoric used by some in politics. Bye Bye! North Dakota Senator Kent Conrad announces retirement
Rather than face a humiliating crushing loss in 2012, Kent Conrad has announced he will not run for re-election and instead will retire when his current term expires in 2012. The Hill notes that Conrad’s excuse was that he didn’t want to be “distracted” by a campaign. That never seemed to be a problem since he became a Senator in 1986. He knows he would be toast in 1986 for voting for things like ObamaCARE, and just doesn’t want to deal with losing by double digits to a Republican challenger.

25 years ago Martin Luther King day became a federal holiday. The Congress in 1985 passed a bill recognizing the holiday as a national holiday, and then President Ronald Reagan signed it into law. At that time Arizona Governor Evan Mecham’s rescinded it as a “state holiday” until it was eventually voted into law by Arizona voters in 1992. But facts don’t matter to the “brilliant” progressives like Donnie Deutsch at MSNBC. History isn’t one of Al Sharpton’s strong points either apparently, as neither knew that Arizona has been honoring Martin Luther King Jr holiday in Arizona for 19 years now. According to douchebag Donny Deutsch and Sharpton, Arizona should “secede” from the nation because they don’t honor the holiday (even though they do.)

Yes, James Eric Fuller made a death threat while photographing Tucson Tea Party leader Trent Humphries during the tape of an ABC town hall meeting. Amazing, it doesn’t seem to be very newsworthy. One day later, it still hasn’t appeared on Politico. The Hill buried a small article near the bottom of it’s page, and even on Fox News Sunday it was just mentioned in passing. I guess since James Eric Fuller is a far left kook, making the threat against a tea party it isn’t very news worthy, especially when it occurs during a taping of a network’s Sunday show. If you reversed the situation and if Humphries had made the threat towards a left winger, this would get 24/7 news coverage. Here’s the video:

Mission ALMOST accomplished by the media and progressives – Tucson tea party leader Trent Humphries threatened by Eric Fuller at ABC Townhall
Amazing. The media is silent at the time of this posting. Nothing on The Hill, nothing on Politico, not even a mention on ABCNEWS who’s Christiane Amanpour conducted a town hall meeting in Tucson a week after the tragic shootings. In fact, ABC News on TV barely mentioned it at all, instead just saying a victim of last week’s shooting “took offense” to want an audience member said, and mumbled “what seemed to be a threat.” Threatening to kill someone “seems like a threat” to ABC. I’m surprised Palin wasn’t blamed. Only in the progressive liberal biased media could a progressive liberal saying “You’re dead” to a tea party leader be considered to “seem like a threat.” Want to be what would happen if the tea party leader said this to Fuller or some other left wing nut?
One of the victims of the shooting Eric Fuller threatened the life of Tucson Tea Party leader Trent Humphries during the taping. Anyone want to bet you will never see this during the airing of the town hall on Sunday morning? Yes the same Eric Fuller who said after last week’s shooting:

I’ve already posted the 2000 and 2006 usages of “blood libel” on MSNBC when no one seemed to care. Here’s another usage of the phrase “blood libel” on on CNN’s Crossfire in November of 2000 on the show Crossfire. (Wow! Such a violent, rhetoric inducing show name).
