The FCC has already voted for “‘net neutrality” to control the Internet, the Fairness Doctrine might not be too far behind.
Rep. Gabby Giffords off respirator
Exactly one week ago today, progressive liberal biased news propaganda outlets like NPR reported that Gabby Giffords had been shot and killed. When they learned that Giffords was alive but in critical condition, the topic turned to blame Sarah Palin, the tea party, Rush Limbaugh, etc. Lost in all the progressive liberal biased coverage was how Gabby Giffords was recovering. Obama said during the memorial that when he, and other Democrat Reps entered her room, she opened her eyes for the first time. Today, The Hill reports, that Giffords has been taken off the respirator, and continues to improve. Though she is still in critical condition, her recovery has been somewhat miraculous.

Reuters poll – 71% of Americans AGAINST raising debt ceiling
Let this be a heads up for the new GOP controlled House. Ooops, did I incite something by saying that? Despite Turbo Tax Cheat Timothy Geithner’s “warning” that not raising the debt ceiling in March would lead to “catastrophic economic consequences”, the American people aren’t buying it. A poll conducted by Reuters (hardly a right wing operation) shows that 71% of those polled are against raising the debt ceiling.
With the total being 71%, that’s a pretty good amount of Democrats that are opposed to raising the debt ceiling too. Only 18% actually favor raising the debt ceiling.

Blood libel used on MSNBC during 2000 and 2006 in reference to Bush – media silent
I’m hoping Newbusters (who posted this revealing story about the hypocrites at MSNBC and the media) post videos of these two incidents. As the progressive liberal media spins how about “evil” Sarah Palin is for using the term “blood libel.” Yet blood libel was used at least TWICE in the last decade on MSNBC in 2000 and 2006 references to George W. Bush. No one said a word about the suddenly offensive term. No one called it a “bad choice of words” then.
First in 2000:
The late Jack Kemp (a Republican) was on tingle leg Chris Matthews’ show Hardball (wow, it’s been around that long?). The topic being discussed was why so few African-Americans voted for George W. Bush in the 2000 election.
MATTHEWS: … basically blaming Bush for the James Byrd horror story because they said he wouldn’t back a hate crime, even though he actually, he, you know, he — they’re executing those people.
KEMP: Oh, I served in the Congress with Kweisi Mfume. He, I want to say, is a friend of mine. I talked to him before George W. Bush spoke at the NAACP during the campaign and Kweisi is a man of integrity. I really can’t believe, and I just say this without any knowledge ahead of time, I don’t believe that Kweisi Mfume, in my opinion, would have allowed, could have allowed, would have funded such a brutal, brutal ad hominem blood libel ad against George W. Bush.

It’s about time someone comes out and says something to that chump of a Sheriff and more likely mall cop Clarence Dupnik. Interviewed by CNSNEWS, Rep. Louis Gohmert of Texas who is a former prosecutor and judge and is currently a member of the House Judiciary Committee has some advice for the chump Pima County Sheriff

Gabrielle Giffords communicating with family – Dr. Lemole says “we are wise to acknowledge miracles”
Gabrielle Giffords continues her steady improvements. Gabby Giffords has improved to the point where not only did she open her eyes for the first time last night, but she is also communicating with family members! Not verbally of course, but with her hands. From the L.A. Times:
“Her family has asked her very specific things, and she has used her hand to communicate with them,” said Dr. Michael Lemole, a neurosurgeon at Tucson’s University Medical Center and one of the surgeons who operated on Giffords after she was shot in the head Saturday morning. That implies that she has a good amount of cognitive functioning.
Dr. Lemole even acknowledged that:
“we are wise to acknowledge miracles.”
Jan Brewer booed during Obama pep rally / memorial in Tucson
I admit. I didn’t hear Jan Brewer getting booed during the pep rally / memorial in Tucson last night now. However, I saw many people on Twitter mentioning it. The New York Times today confirmed that Brewer was booed. Here’s the video of Brewer’s speech. I still can’t hear the booing. But i certainly don’t hear the yelling and screaming that Obama and Napolitano got either.

According to The Hill Patricia Tierney, pleaded guilty in October to four counts of helping her brother, fugitive Robert Eremian, prepare false federal tax returns.
NPR Latina Daisy Hernandez – Brown relief that Jared Loughner was a “Gringo”
Daisy Hernandez is NOT related the Daniel Hernandez, who was one of the heroes of this past Saturday’s Tucson shooting. That being said, Daisy Hernandez writes for NPR, appears on the radio for NPR, and is the co-editor of Colonize This! But for Daisy Hernandez’s “Brown Relief”, Jared Lee Loughner was simply a “gringo” and not a Latino. And and also according to Daisy, the only reason that America is taking the last few days to reflect on the politics is because Loughner was not a Latino. Yes, this is what your tax payer money is funding. Someone like Daisy Hernandez can have “Brown” relief that a shooter that killed six people and injured fourteen other was a “gringo”, yet the same organization can fire their only African-American on air personality for stating on Fox News that he is uncomfortable about being on plays with those in “Muslim garb.”

Charles Krauthammer on progressive nuts going crazy over “Blood Libel” – ‘Have we completely lost our minds?’
Ok. I admit it. I haven’t even heard of “Blood Libel” before today. I guess progressive liberal nuts are just superior to me (again) in knowing what such a term was. That being said, after getting completely destroyed in their argument that Jared Lee Loughner was somehow a right wing extremist, left wing nuts have now latched on the Sarah Palin’s blood libel statement to bash and criticize her. Charles Krauthammer who routinely bashes Sarah Palin did so again today on Fox News, but also wondered if we have we completely lost our minds for getting all wee-weed up over Palin’s “Blood Libel” comment.
Obama’s full speech at Tucson Memorial
Here’s the thing with Obama’s speech at the Tucson Memorial tonight. I can’t really bash him. It was long, but that’s not uncommon for Presidents. What really offended me tonight, which I don’t blame Obama for was the crowd yelling and screaming he walked in the arena, and then started to speak. This was supposed to be a memorial service which is a somber event, not a pep rally, yet the college kids in the crowd didn’t seem to care. Obama and Nappy Big Sis Janet Napolitano got the loudest cheers and screams of the not. Not the mention of the victims, or their family members who were in attendance. The best moment of the night was when Obama said that “Gabby opened her eyes for the first time.” It didn’t bring a thrill up my leg like Chris Matthews gets whenever he hears Obama speak, but it ALMOST caused me to have a John Boehner moment.
