Thankfully, Gabby Giffords continues her slow, but steady recovery from the gun shot that nearly killed her this past Saturday. Fox News reports that doctors say that Giffords’ recovery is going as anticipated, and she has become more responsive as she comes off heavy medication.

Big Government however got an exclusive statement, from attorney and Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz. He actually defended Sarah Palin’s use of the term “blood libel.” Oh BTW, Dershowitz is hardly a right wing extremist.

Just more proof why the mallcop Sheriff of Pima County Clarence Dupnik is trying to distract people with his petty politics over the Jared Loughner shooting. Sheriff Clarence Dupnik’s bumbling and stumbling let this nut Jared Lee Loughner slip the cracks and he can’t bare to admit it to the American public. The New York Times reports that police were sent to the home of Jared L. Loughner multiple times before the Tucson shooting took place over the past weekend. All the signs were there that this nut needed mental help, and yet nothing was done by Dupnik’s department.
A spokesman, Jason Ogan, said the details of the calls were being reviewed by legal counsel and would be released as soon as the review was complete. He said he did not know what the calls were about — they could possibly have been minor, even trivial matters — or whether they involved Jared Loughner or another member of the household.

Obama finally took time out of his busy schedule to phone the families of the victims of the Tucson shootings over the weekend. It only took Obama three days to do it. Speedy isn’t he? Not only did he phone the families of the victims, Obama also found the time to phone the mall-cop Sheriff of Pima County Clarence Dupnik. Anyone want to bet he never told Dupnik he was “acting stupidly?” Actually, according to ABC via Gateway Pundit, Obama actually thanked Dupnik!

According to the Washington Post, one of the sites that Jared Lee Loughner “hung out on” was a site called Abovetopsecret.com. This site’s forums has discussions on UFOs, if God is real, etc. A user with the nickname of Erad3 joined that site in 2009. According to the WaPo article, the site’s chief executive of it’s parent company Bill Irvine believes that Erad3 was Jared Lee Loughner. Irvine said he would go with “99% percent” that it was Loughner.
“I’d go with 99 percent,” said when asked how certain he was that Erad3 and Loughner were the same person.
