The AP released the name earlier of Jared Laughner was the suspect in the Gabriel Giffords shooting earlier today in Tucson, Arizona. However, a youtube channel belonging to someone named Jared Lee Loughner has been discovered. According to the youtube channel, Jared Lee Loughner is from Tucson. So we will see if this is the proper spelling of the shooter’s name. Right now, we still assume the AP report and spelling of Laughner is the proper version.
Suspected Giffords / Tucson shooter – 22 year Jared Laughner
The “suspected” shooter of Gabierl Giffords and several others in Tucson Arizona today has been identified by the Associated Press via Washington Post as a pasty white 22 year old named Jared Laughner. No real information is known about Jared Laughner, nor is a motive (at this time) known.

Horrible! Absolutely horrible! U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was shot in the head at during one of her “Congress is in Your Corner” events in Tucson, Arizona. Originally, Giffords was reported to have been fatally shot, but now thankfully, reports are that she is not dead! According to KOLD, Giffords is now in surgery and in critical condition. Please pray for Gabrielle Giffords to make it through the surgery and make a full recovery.

LOL! Illinois lawmakers propose a 75 percent income tax increase
You people in Illinois voted for Pat Quinn, now you reap the rewards! Quickly becoming the California of the midwest, Governor Pat Quinn and leaders of both houses of the Illinois General Assembly (both Democrat btw) have agreed on raising the state income tax. This isn’t going to be some proposition voted on the by the people in Illinois, instead, it will be a bill passed by Marxist Democrats in the state house and Senate. According to CBS Chicago, the bill will raise income tax levels from 3% to 5.25%, a 75% increase! Simple math states that if you are paying $1,000 in income tax now, you will pay $1,750 next year once this bill goes into effect.
State Department now creating gender-neutral passports removing “mother” and “father”
Now isn’t this brilliant? The State Department is changing the way passports and their application will show information. Not in a way that should make things safer or more secure, but rather to move to a politically correct, gender-neutral type of wording. Gone will be the words “mother” and “father” from U.S. passport applications and passports. According to Fox Radio via Fox Nation, the State Department instead will use “Parent One” and “Parent Two.”

Again, don’t be fooled by the so called “conservative” Democrats. There is no such thing anymore. There are over 20 Democrats left in the 112th Congress that voted NO on the original ObamaCARE bill, yet only four of them voted yes during today’s test vote. Two Republicans, pulled an Obama and voted “present.” The two “Republicans” voting present were Rep. Pete Sessions (Texas) and Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick (Pennsylvania). These were the same two who skipped Wednesday’s official swearing-in ceremony by sitting in the Capitol Visitors Center.

Good! And it’s about time. You want to get an abortion and kill an innocent life? Don’t expect me to pay for it! According to CNSNEWS, Rep. Mike Pence has introduced a bill in the House that would prohibit abortion providers from receiving federal funds through Title X of the Public Health Service Act. This includes Planned Parenthood, which got over $360 MIILLION in tax payer money via government grants and contracts in Fiscal Year 2008-2009.

When the CBO is given numbers from Democrats, that ignore important costs of ObamaCARE such as the doctor fix, you’re going to get numbers that show ObamaCARE would reduce the deficit. The CBO isn’t fixing any numbers, they are basically just a calculator and crunch numbers based on what they are given. However, when the CBO gets the full set of numbers, and doesn’t count 6 years of service with 10 years of tax revenue, the real story rears it’s ugly head. The American Spectator has obtained an e-mail from the CBO to Capitol Hill staffers that reveals the truth.

In case you are curious about the birther who heckled Congress earlier, her name is Theresa Cao. Secular Stupidest describes Cao as a generally soft-spoken yet persistent birther protester seen regularly around DC. Theresa Cao was arrested later Thursday. Secular Stupidest also goes on to say how Cao’s actions of interrupting the Constitution reading was NOT a patriotic act. And I completely agree. The 110th and 111th Congress turned out to be the absolute worst congress sessions in American history, and the most costly. During both those Congress session, in which Nancy Pelosi was speaker, America racked up a total of $5.34 TRILLION in new debt. According to CNSNEWS, that works out to a staggering $3.66 Billion per day! Pelosi’s spending spree amassed more debt than the first 49 speakers combined!
Bill O’Reilly two year pandering to Obama pays off! Will interview Obama before Super Bowl
Since his softball interview with Obama in 2008 during the Presidential election campaign, Bill O’Reilly has made every possible excuse for Obama no matter what he does. It was always assumed that O’Reily was pandering to Obama in order to score another interview with him. Looks like the two years of pandering have paid off! According to the Washington Post, O’Reilly will interview Obama during the pre-game show. The game of course is on the regular Fox stations on TV. The egos of O’Reilly and Obama colliding on the same set could set off mass thunderstorms everywhere!
