Obama regime: Arabic is ‘language of the future’ – Mandatory Arabic classes in Mansfield Texas

obama-pictureMandatory Arabic classes? The Department of Education has somehow identified Arabic as a ‘language of the future’. Maybe that’s true in Europe, but in Mansfield, Texas or America period? Maybe Spanish, maybe even Chinese since China basically owns America now, but Arabic? According to CBS Dallas:

As part of the five-year $1.3 million grant, Arabic classes would be mandatory at Cross Timbers Intermediate School and Kenneth Davis Elementary School. The program would also be optional for students at T. A. Howard Middle School and Summit High School.
The DOE has identified Arabic as a ‘language of the future.



And people still wonder why some think Obama is a Muslim? This regime is sure using the “future” wording a lot huh? The new Obama 2012 campaign slogan “winning the future” and Joe Biden’s “seize the future” today.

    First French then Spanish now Arabic? How about German, Japanese, and Mandarin/Cantonese (?sp) Schools are supposed to prepare our children for the future. Consistently promoting 3rd world languages will not help them in the future. Why we force kids to lean Spanish is beyond me. What do Spanish speaking nations make, what jobs do they offer? Yes, many have come to believe that speaking Spanish will help people find low end jobs in customer service but this is a self fulfilling prophecy by allowing this language to exist in our own country. Go to Thailand and more people under 35 speak fluent English than in the US if you count illegal immigrants, when a Thai business man speaks to a Japanese business man… guess what, they speak English. We are really selling our kids short and in the end it will make our country less competitive in the future. This from a guy that went to school in Thailand and learned their language… turns out I didn’t need to.
